Toni Collette shows off her fresh new look as she steps out in chic boho ensemble in New York

Toni Collette recently underwent a fresh makeover. 

She recently traded her dark hair for a bright blonde look and debuted it while out in New York City on Wednesday.

The 53-year-old was looking youthful as she left the Whitby Hotel in a boho, white lace maxi dress. 

Toni opted for a black blazer over the top of her frock and carried a designer handbag. 

For makeup, the actress chose a warm palette with peachy blush and added pink lip gloss. 

She finished her outfit with a few mixed-metal accessories, like a necklace and several rings.

Toni famously got her big break in 1994’s Muriel’s Wedding. 

Following the success of Muriel’s Wedding, which earned AU$16 million in Australia and $15 million in the US, Toni Collette became known for her roles in popular films like The Sixth Sense, for which she received an Oscar nomination.

She has also had starring turns in About a Boy, Little Miss Sunshine and Knives Out.

Toni recently appeared in the film Mickey 17, directed by Bong Joon Ho – the acclaimed filmmaker behind the Oscar-winning black comedy thriller, Parasite.

She stars in the new movie alongside Naomi Ackie and Robert Pattinson.

In March, Toni was also in London to start filming a new top-secret project.

This news follows confirmation from actress Claudia Karvan that she is still happily dating Dave Galafassi, who was previously married to Toni Collette, the star of Muriel’s Wedding.

Earlier this year, actress and TV personality, 53, shared photos and updates on social media about a romantic getaway to Italy with her musician boyfriend, 48.

Dave, a drummer for an indie rock band, ended his relationship with Golden Globe-winning actress Toni in December 2022. Photos surfaced showing him kissing Shannon Egan on Manly Beach in Sydney, confirming the breakup.

After the Daily Mail reached out to Toni’s representatives regarding the photos, she and her partner announced their breakup in a statement posted on her Instagram account, which she had recently made public again.

‘It is with grace and gratitude that we announce we are divorcing,’ the pair wrote.

‘We’re united in our decision and part with continuing respect and care for each other.

Our children mean the world to us, and we’re committed to building a strong family, even though things are changing. We appreciate the understanding and support you’ve given us as we navigate this transition with peace and kindness. Thank you so much.

David and his future partner first met in 2002 at his band’s album release show in Sydney. They then ran into each other again only a few days later at a house party.

In January 2003, less than a year after meeting, they held a Buddhist wedding ceremony on her property in Berry, on the south coast of New South Wales.

In December 2023, Dave and Claudia grabbed attention after being seen showing affection during a surfing date at Bondi Beach.
