Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, letting fans know when they can start watching.
The popular show, originally an animated series, launched in 2024 and has been renewed for two more seasons on the streaming platform.
With season 2 set to release in 2026, Netflix has revealed a new trailer showing what Aang, played by Gordon Cormier, will be doing in the upcoming episodes.
What to Read Next
Like in the animated series, Aang learns earth bending in this chapter.
During the first season, a 12-year-old boy discovers he’s the Avatar, meaning he has the power to control air, water, earth, and fire. He begins training with Toph Beifong (played by Miya Cech), a gifted young earthbender who is also blind, to learn how to fully harness his abilities.

In the trailer, Toph observes that everything is constantly in motion. She notes, ‘The world is vibrating all around us… and there’s a hidden world beneath our feet.’
The trailer for season 2 features Aang, Katara (played by Kiawentiio), and her brother Sokka (played by Ian Ousley) as they watch Toph compete in an earth-bending contest.
As she shatters a boulder and showcases her earth-bending skills, the trio watches in awe.
“We’re all connected through the earth,” Toph also says in a voiceover.

The trailer reveals Prince Zuko’s sister, Azula, powerfully bending lightning – a skill widely known as one of the most dangerous abilities in the world.
Okay, seriously, Toph’s scene with her seismic sense gave me goosebumps! And I’m so relieved the trailer is finally here – so many of us have been waiting for it!
Seriously, after waiting a whole year, it’s finally here! And honestly, seeing how they’ve done Toph’s seismic sense is incredible. I’m really hoping this season lives up to how amazing the trailer looks!
The second season of Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender is scheduled to premiere in 2026. You can currently watch the first season on Netflix.
