Clash of Clans revives Eagle Artillery for Town Hall 17 and above, but with a twist

If you’re a Town Hall 17 player in Clash of Clans, you were likely disappointed to find out that your Eagle Artillery is removed when you upgrade to Town Hall 16 and create the Inferno Artillery. Now, over a year after that update, there’s some good news: while the Eagle Artillery won’t be coming back as a functional building, a decorative version might be on the way.

Folks at TH16 and below won’t be getting the Eagle Monument deco, as it should be

Great news! The Eagle Artillery decoration is now available for all players at Town Hall 17 and above. It won’t be available at Town Hall 18, so be sure to grab it now! You can find it in the Decorations tab – it’s a nice way to show off your base!

Man, we all really miss Eagle Artillery, right? As a way to remember all the awesome raids and battles we had with it, the developers have given us a cool Eagle Monument Decoration! The Eagle Monument’s design isn’t a perfect copy of the original Eagle Artillery, but it definitely brings back memories. While it doesn’t actively attack anymore in your Town Hall 17, it’s still a striking building, both visually and because of how important it was to our defenses up until Town Hall 16.

Many players felt the Eagle Artillery was becoming less effective at higher Town Hall levels, particularly after Town Hall 13 and 14. I agree with the decision to replace it with the Inferno Artillery. It seems like a much stronger and more dependable defensive option for Town Hall 17.

Many players have asked why this feature is only available for Town Hall 17 and above. The reason is logical: it would be strange to have a memorial stone next to your Eagle Artillery if it’s still actively defending your base. Since the Eagle Artillery is still used at Town Hall levels 16 and below, a monument for it wouldn’t make sense yet!
