I was so happy to see Chelsee Healey out with her boyfriend, Eddie Rainford, yesterday! It’s great to see them together after Eddie was released from prison early. He’d been serving a two-year sentence related to drug charges, and it must have been a really difficult time for them both. It’s lovely to see they’re supporting each other now.
Former Hollyoaks actor Adam Rickitt, 37, was spotted leaving Cibo Italian restaurant in Manchester with his partner after a date, and the two were very affectionate with each other.
Chelsee looked stylish in a long purple coat and jumper while Eddie wore a casual green tracksuit.
The pair share a daughter called Cookie together who was born in December 2023.
In June, Chelsee was in court to see him sentenced to prison for his involvement in a large-scale drug operation. He was convicted of supplying significant amounts of cannabis.
At Manchester Crown Court, it was revealed that former Royal Marine commando Rainford and Jay Boyd, 28, were accused of leading a criminal group that sold large amounts of cannabis – several kilograms at a time.

I’ve been following this case closely, and a source told The Sun a while back that there was talk of Eddie being released early. Apparently, Chelsee has been incredibly supportive, sticking by his side ever since he was sentenced. It’s really touching to see.
She promised to remain committed to him for their daughter’s sake, and she’s hopeful they’ll have a happy future together. She believes it won’t take long for them to be a close family again.
‘Chelsee feels like she will finally be able to move on with her life when he’s out.’
A representative for Chelsee has been contacted by The Daily Mail for comment.
Chelsee Healey, known for her role as Goldie McQueen on the Channel 4 soap opera, kept her partner’s full identity hidden from the public for four years, only sharing his first name with fans.
She used to call him her soulmate and said he had everything she wanted in a husband – someone calm and without unnecessary drama.
The Manchester Crown Court was told that the defendant and Boyd were accused of leading a criminal group that sold large amounts of cannabis – several kilograms at a time.
During the trial, prosecutor Gwen Henshaw explained that the drug operation was small-scale and specialized, offering different types of cannabis with names like ‘Cali weed’, ‘Oreo Cookies’, and ‘Orange Cake’.
I recall the officer testifying that they overheard Rainford and Boyd at Costa talking about getting ’33 percent’ of something, and that attempting to get ‘4.5’ was considered a ‘risk’ by them. It really stuck with me as a key detail in the case.

As a longtime follower of this case, it became obvious to me that everyone involved had a part to play in what was happening. When the police searched a property in Salford, they found several small stashes of the drug, confirming their suspicions.
Phone records revealed conversations about drug transactions and money, and investigators found photos of substantial sums of cash.
When a dealer asked Rainford if he’d be willing to sell different types of the drug, as long as they were good quality, Rainford simply replied, ‘Yeah, they’re good.’
Ms. Henshaw testified that the messages discussed amounts of the drug totaling ‘£10,000 or more’. The two individuals were convicted for selling 4.54 kilograms of the drug, which was valued at between £32,000 and £45,000.
The prosecutor explained that the activity was clearly wholesale – meaning goods were purchased with the intention of reselling them to others for distribution.
Rainford and Boyd both admitted to involvement in supplying a Class B drug between November 2022 and September 2023. This occurred shortly after Chelsee finished competing on ITV’s Dancing on Ice – just four days after her elimination.
Okay, so Rainford was back in jail – Forest Bank, specifically – just waiting to find out his fate. They’d brought him back in, you know, on hold while they figured out what was going to happen with his case. I’ve been following everything, and it was so stressful just knowing he was stuck there, waiting! It’s HMP Forest Bank, I need to remember that… it just feels awful knowing he was there like that.
He was previously convicted of violent crimes while in the Royal Marines and sentenced to six years in prison. He was released in July 2022 after being court-martialed.
Rainford received a two-year prison sentence, and Boyd was sentenced to 1 year and 8 months. The judge determined that only immediate imprisonment was a suitable punishment.

Chelsee, who was sat in the public gallery, showed no emotion as her partner was jailed.
Following her departure from Dancing on Ice, Chelsee suggested she’d been dealing with personal difficulties that made it hard to concentrate on the competition.
‘I’m just really grateful, I’ve had the best time.’
Chelsee, who is also a mother to seven-year-old Coco from a previous relationship, has said that her relationship with Rainford was the most supportive she’s ever experienced.
