Katie McGlynn has reportedly split from her flame Max Bowden after a short-lived romance.
The 30-year-old actor from EastEnders and the 32-year-old former Coronation Street actress reportedly became close while performing in a touring play called Murder At Midnight, following his breakup with his girlfriend.
Photos taken earlier this month show the couple sharing a passionate kiss while out in Worcestershire after seeing a show at Malvern Theatre.
According to The Sun, the couple has split up, reportedly because their recent public display of affection upset the woman’s former partner, Ricky Rayment.
A source told the publication: ‘Max and Katie have had a bit of a whirlwind romance.
They were so focused on their relationship that other parts of their lives suffered. Eventually, Katie realized it wasn’t working and decided to break up.
‘Max is said to be pretty cut up about it and it’s made things pretty awkward.’
The play is currently on break for Christmas, but performances will resume in the New Year, and the cast will reunite to continue working together.
The article also states that Katie’s former fiancé, Ricky, from the show TOWIE, was deeply upset by seeing her kiss someone else so soon after their breakup.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for both Max and Katie for comment.
Max and Tori Allen-Martin ended their relationship in September. They first met while performing together in the musical, Midnight Cowboy.
They were famously close during the show, but broke up shortly before he briefly reappeared as Ben Mitchell.
Soon after it was reported that Max and Katie had ‘chemistry’.
Tori is most famous for playing the character Cherry in the BBC sitcom Here We Go, where she starred alongside Alison Steadman and Katherine Parkinson.
Meanwhile back in July the Daily Mail revealed that Katie had split from Ricky.
After meeting on a cruise in 2023 and beginning a relationship, the couple have split up. This happened even though rumors circulated that they were engaged when Katie was seen with a diamond ring on Valentine’s Day.

The former couple completely wiped each other from their Instagram accounts, deleting everything – from photos of their vacations together to the original post announcing they were dating.
