Neymar Jr

  • Playing Style: Hole Player
  • Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Acceleration Burst

Neymar cards are consistently excellent in eFootball, and this special Epic version is no exception. He immediately improves how your team plays, offering a very smooth experience. I’ve always felt like Neymar naturally excels at dribbling with momentum, so honestly, this specific skill feels redundant – but in a positive way, as it doesn’t detract from his existing abilities.

He’s surprisingly effective playing a more fluid, positional style, finding space naturally without needing to push himself into it. He doesn’t try to overpower defenders, and with his great balance and quickness, he usually avoids those kinds of physical matchups anyway.

If you’re thinking of using this player, I recommend definitely adding the Long Range Shooting, Outside Curler, and One Touch Pass skills. He works best as a close-range finisher, especially in AMF or SS formations, so building him to excel near the goal is ideal – that’s where he really shines.

Paolo Maldini

  • Position: LB
  • Playing Style: Defensive Fullback
  • Showtime Skill: Fortress and Aerial Fort

Okay, so I’m really excited about building a player with the Fullback position and Defensive Fullback playstyle – it feels like a total game-changer at CB! And honestly, if that player was Maldini, forget about it – perfection! This card feels like his absolute best yet. He’s basically the highest-rated CB in the game in everyone’s opinion, it’s a shame the official ratings don’t quite show that!

When trained as a centre-back, this player received a very high rating of 110 – truly exceptional stats! He’s perfect for building up play from the back. Surprisingly, he’s calm and collected on the ball, and his passing looks very fluid, even better than you might expect.

This player is a reliable left back who focuses on safe passing and build-up play, but he won’t constantly run up the wing to create overlaps. If you want a center back, he lacks the essential Heading and Aerial Superiority stats, so be sure to upgrade those before using him in that position.

Raúl

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Dummy Runner
  • Showtime Skill: Blitz Curler

Dummy Runner is a really strong strategy that doesn’t get enough attention. The Epic Raúl card fits this style perfectly – he’s always a reliable player. This playstyle focuses on constant movement, cleverly maneuvering past opponents, and pulling defenders away from your attackers.

Blitz Curler feels like a surprisingly useful ability for this player. He already has excellent shot power, curl, and finishing stats, making him a reliable goal-scorer. I haven’t tested his curling ability with his weaker foot yet, but the stats look very promising – almost as good as his strong foot!

He has all the necessary skills for both central midfield and attacking midfield, so there’s no need for any further development. He excels in central midfield, but I’ve successfully used him as an advanced playmaker between the forwards, and I recommend continuing to do so.

Best pick from the Worldwide pack in eFootball 2026

I think Neymar is the best choice, although Paolo Maldini is a very strong contender. Maldini is definitely an incredible card in eFootball 2025. However, I don’t really advise using fullbacks who are good at defending as central defenders, even if they’re highly rated.

Neymar is a fantastic ‘Hole Player’ card, ranking among the top five, and Raul is the clear best choice for a ‘Dummy Runner’. If you have enough in-game currency, this pack is definitely worth considering.
