Mindset GO! partners with The Observer, bringing its weekly puzzles to the logic page

Story Highlights

  • Mindset GO! is the first video game to appear in print, with a new puzzle featured each week on The Observer’s logic page.
  • The game uses Venn style logic to solve shape sorting puzzles based on shared attributes.
  • The game comes from devs behind popular titles like Pixelgrams, Chime and Stardew Valley.

Magicave and The Observer, a long-running Sunday newspaper, have teamed up to bring a new puzzle called Mindset GO! to print. This unique UK partnership will feature a fresh puzzle each week on The Observer’s logic puzzles page.

Solve Mindset GO! puzzles in your Sunday newspaper’s logic page

Mindset GO! is a new puzzle game that launched in September and has already been featured weekly on The Observer’s logic page – a fantastic achievement! It was created by Ste Curran, the creative director of Magicave, and challenges players using the principles of Venn diagram logic.

The game itself involves solving puzzles by grouping shapes with similar qualities, and it’s really pleasing to see them fit together – I found it very satisfying, anyway. Plus, you can keep track of everything you’ve unlocked in ‘My Sets,’ which is like a collection of the shape sets you’ve earned.

As you complete weekly events or explore different areas of the game map, you’ll unlock new sets of items. Completing all the challenges in a set earns you a special golden badge. What’s great is that once you unlock these sets, you keep them permanently. Plus, the game recently partnered with The Observer, even if it’s just in the UK, which makes me even more interested in playing it.

If you’re interested, you can download the game from the Google Play Store or App Store and see what you think!
