The 71-year-old billionaire looked fantastic in a completely white outfit, including a close-fitting blouse with flowing sleeves and a matching skirt.

The well-known celebrity greeted host Melissa Doyle with a hug and then captivated the audience at the ICC Theatre with a lively and honest conversation.

And as she begins her Aussie speaking tour, details have emerged about her wealth.

Oprah Winfrey has amassed a fortune of around $3.2 billion (or $4.8 billion Australian dollars) thanks to a career that started in the 1980s with local television and radio work.

Oprah Winfrey became a household name after achieving early success in Steven Spielberg’s 1986 film, The Color Purple. She truly rose to fame, however, with the massive popularity of her daytime talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show.

It’s widely known she started investing heavily in real estate years ago, and it’s really paid off! Oprah Winfrey also owns a luxurious home in Colorado, near the popular ski resort town of Telluride. She bought the mansion in 2014 for $15.7 million.

Oprah also owns property in famed holiday destination Hawaii.

In 2003, she purchased a $5.3 million estate on Maui. It’s believed the media professional also owns a total of $40 million worth of property on the island.

She also has an 42-acre estate on Orcas Island in Washington state, estimated to be worth around $8.2 million.

This is Oprah Winfrey’s first trip to Australia in a decade, where she’ll be hosting a live conversation event with Melissa Doyle.
