Sigourney Weaver looked remarkably young while posing for photos with her fellow cast members at the ‘Avatar’ event in Paris on Wednesday.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I just saw Sigourney Weaver! She’s incredible, still absolutely stunning at 79! She’s back for the new Avatar movie – ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash,’ can you believe it?! – and she looked so chic and powerful in a pantsuit at the Hotel Shangri-La. I seriously couldn’t take my eyes off her. She’s a legend!
She was wearing a black and white tweed jacket over a turtleneck sweater, paired with black suit pants and matching loafers.
Sigourney Weaver, along with Zoe Saldana and Oona Castilla Chaplin, walked the black carpet to promote their new film, which comes out on December 19th.
Zoe, 47, cut a stylish figure in a plunging oversized cropped leather jacket with puff sleeves.

She finished her outfit with black pants and heels, adding a gold belt and small hoop earrings.
The star plays Neytiri, a Na’vi warrior and the wife of Jake Sully (played by Sam Worthington).
Sigourney plays Kiri, a teenage Na’vi and the adopted child of Neytiri and Jake.
Oona, age 39, who portrays the villain Varang, stunned in a long, red jumpsuit with a high neck and flowing bell sleeves.
She finished her outfit with simple gold jewelry and wore her hair in a long, elegant braid.
Also in attendance was Stephen Lang, who plays the human character of Colonel Miles Quaritch.
The 73-year-old actor looked stylish in a cream turtleneck sweater and navy wool coat, complemented by jeans and black shoes.
Forty-nine-year-old Sam, the film’s star, looked sharp in a black blazer, trousers, and T-shirt.

This new movie is a follow-up to Avatar: The Way of Water, which came out in 2022, and the first Avatar film from 2009.
As a huge movie fan, I always remember how different Avatar’s success was. Most blockbusters these days make their money with huge opening weekends, but Avatar built its record-breaking numbers in a totally unique way. It wasn’t about a massive initial burst; it was something much more sustained.
Avatar earned a remarkable $2.92 billion, largely because people saw it repeatedly in theaters – a level of sustained viewership rarely achieved. It continues to hold the record as the highest-grossing film of all time.
In Avatar: Fire and Ash, Jake and Neytiri’s family struggles with sadness following the death of their oldest son.
The team clashes with a new, hostile Na’vi tribe called the Ash People, led by the passionate Varang. As tensions rise, the story explores fresh ethical dilemmas.
The film’s maker James Cameron, 71, said of the 2025 sequel: ‘The fire will be represented by the “Ash People.”
‘I want to show the Na’vi from another angle because, so far, I have only shown their good sides.
The first Avatar movies showed humans largely in a negative light and the Na’vi as overwhelmingly positive. In Avatar 3, we’re flipping that – we’ll be exploring more positive human characters and showing some flaws within the Na’vi.
He stated that they plan to introduce new settings and continue developing the existing characters’ storylines. He also hinted that the final installments will be the most compelling yet.
‘The others were an introduction, a way to set the table before serving the meal.’
