Oprah Winfrey walks six and a half kilometres to dine at iconic Sydney hotspot – and reveals what she REALLY thinks of Aussie breakfast loved by Hugh Jackman

Oprah Winfrey has sent tongues wagging after gushing about an iconic Sydney restaurant.

Oprah is currently in Australia for her speaking tour and recently shared her love for the popular breakfast restaurant Bills on Instagram. Bills has multiple locations throughout the city.

But one particular dish really impressed the 71-year-old, and it was suggested by a famous Australian celebrity.

She presented the fluffy ricotta pancakes, saying, ‘These are the pancakes that Hugh Jackman raves about!’

When Oprah tasted the famous dish, she nodded and said, ‘Hugh was right.’

After she finished eating, Oprah went outside the famous restaurant to compliment Hugh on his excellent food choices and to express her admiration for the Buffalo Bills football team.

“You’re totally right, Hugh! If you ever visit Sydney, you absolutely have to come here,” she told the camera. “There were twelve of us, and we all ate so much!”

Oprah shared that she walked over 4 miles to taste the highly-praised pancakes.

She raved about the ricotta hotcakes from Bills Australia, saying she walked four miles to get them and it was totally worth it! She also thanked Hugh Jackman for recommending the spot, sharing the story on Instagram.

Oprah looked great and healthy when she arrived in Sydney on Tuesday, before starting her speaking engagements in Australia.

She was seen at her hotel on Monday morning after a relaxing breakfast and walk in Bondi, a beachside neighborhood.

Oprah looked noticeably slimmer as she stepped out of her car, wearing a green T-shirt, patterned blue leggings, and a straw sun hat.

She completed her outfit with a bandana around her neck, sunglasses, hoop earrings, and a smartwatch, finishing the look with comfortable sneakers.

Oprah greeted people with a warm smile and enthusiastic wave as she walked towards the hotel.

The American icon touched down in Sydney via private jet to kick off her Australian tour.

She made a glamorous entrance despite dressing down for her long-haul flight.

Oprah opted for a classy grey knit set for optimum comfort, along with a straw hat and sunglasses.

The popular talk show host is returning to Australia for the first time in over a decade this December. She’ll be doing a series of live interviews and conversations in different cities across the country.

‘I’m beyond excited to return after ten years,’ Oprah said in a public statement.

I still remember the amazing energy and connection I felt with everyone during my last tour. This time around, I’m excited to reconnect with you all, think about what we’ve learned, and find new inspiration – together. I’m really looking forward to sharing experiences, thoughts, and having meaningful conversations about building a better future.
