JoJo Siwa’s ex Kath Ebbs is engaged to new love Tilly Lucas-Rodd. 

On Monday evening, the couple—who both use they/them pronouns—revealed their engagement rings during an Instagram Live session.

Kath was devastated in August when her boyfriend, a 22-year-old star from Dance Moms, went on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK. While on the show, he became close to Chris Hughes, and they developed a romantic connection, even though he was already with Kath.

After the CBB party, news came out that JoJo broke up with Kath, leaving her feeling shocked and confused, before beginning a relationship with Chris.

Let me tell you, love can happen at any time! I’m so thrilled for them – they’ve found something really special with Tilly, and just announced their engagement! It’s funny how things work out, though. Kath actually confessed she took a chance and messaged Tilly on social media about two years ago, a bit of a long-held crush, but didn’t get a response back then. Talk about a happy ending!

The couple announced their engagement on Instagram Live, excitedly showing off their rings. This came just six months after Kath experienced a difficult breakup.

Kath once shared a screenshot of a message she sent to Tilly in 2023. She’d tried to start a conversation with a playful flame emoji, but Tilly didn’t respond for two years.

The couple confirmed their relationship in July. Kath hinted at a difficult previous breakup in a post where she playfully announced, ‘Yes, the rumors are true! I still believe in love, even though I probably shouldn’t!’

Oh my god, you guys, they finally confirmed it! It was through these adorable, but seriously steamy, photobooth pictures! And Tilly? She’s hilarious! She basically admitted he’d been trying to get with her for two years and she was just like, ‘Sorry for the wait!’ I’m dying, it’s everything I’ve ever wanted!

JoJo and Chris are now a popular couple, and JoJo recently came in third place on Celebrity Big Brother. Unlike the other finalists who were met by family and friends after the show, no one was there to greet JoJo when she left the stage.

Okay, so everyone thought she was being ignored by her guy with all the drama about JoJo and Chris, but honestly? I heard from someone backstage that she was there, refusing to film a scene with JoJo. Like, she was totally avoiding a reunion on camera! It’s just… everything is so complicated, and I’m completely obsessed with finding out what really happened.

Shortly after the news broke, Kath revealed they believe they experienced ‘love bombing’ and confirmed they have split up.

Following the drama, Kath unfollowed JoJo on Instagram and then shared the news of their breakup on her own social media accounts.

Kath, who started dating JoJo in November 2024, shared a video saying she was in shock and didn’t know how to start explaining something.

I feel completely numb and confused right now. After watching things happen for two weeks without understanding what was going on, and not being able to get answers from the person involved, I finally need to address the situation.

It’s strange, but I think I might have experienced something like love bombing – or at least, a similar pattern of behavior.

Hearing someone tell me I was their soulmate, getting a marriage proposal before the show, feeling truly loved in private, and then being upset by what I witnessed – but still wanting to talk things through and understand – that’s what I experienced.

JoJo revealed the breakup, saying she felt even more embarrassed by how things ended.

I traveled here over the past eight hours to attend my partner’s performance and offer my support. Afterwards, I plan to deal with my own difficult emotions and process them.

I hadn’t even returned to the hotel when I went to the afterparty with – well, now I guess my ex – and they broke up with me there.

Someone told me there’s a lot of uncertainty and mixed emotions surrounding this. They’ve also come to the conclusion that I’m not who they want to build a future with.
