Australian Foo Fighters fans could very soon have good reason to celebrate.
An announcement about a 2026 tour of Australia by the famous American rock band is expected very soon.
On Monday, Australian tour organizer Frontier hinted on Instagram that a major announcement about the Dave Grohl-led band was coming soon.
A photo is circulating online of a huge Foo Fighters billboard placed on top of The Winston pub in Hobart, Tasmania.
The picture was shared with the caption, ‘Give me a reason, show me a sign,’ which are lyrics from the band’s new song, Asking For A Friend.
The caption also featured a link to a dedicated Foo Fighters page on the Frontier Touring website.

The link leads to a black screen showing the Foo Fighters logo and a countdown timer promising an announcement sometime on Wednesday.
The post was met with a flurry of excitement from Aussie Foo Fighters fans.
People in Tasmania also noticed the billboard, especially since the band hadn’t included Tasmania on their previous Australian tour.
One fan was surprised to see a billboard in Hobart, saying, “Excuse me?” They didn’t understand the message, but immediately recognized the logo.
One person expressed great excitement about the news, and another commented that it seemed like a trip to Tasmania was planned.
Although fans in most of Australia likely won’t hear about a tour until Wednesday, it’s almost certain that Foo Fighters will perform a concert in Tasmania.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always keeping an eye on what’s trending, and I noticed some exciting news last night! The Foo Fighters Live fan account shared a sneak peek on Instagram – artwork announcing a special, one-night-only show in Tasmania. It looks like fans down under are in for a treat!
The purported gig is slated to go down at UTAS Stadium on January 24, 2026.

This special, one-time concert will feature the band performing alongside Brisbane’s The Full Flower Moon Band and Spooky Eyes, a psychedelic rock trio from Tasmania.
Okay, so the buzz about a Frontier Touring show at UTAS Stadium is definitely building! While Frontier hasn’t officially said anything yet, I’ve spotted their logo on the promotional artwork – and that usually means something’s afoot. It’s a strong hint that a show is likely happening, even if we’re waiting for the official announcement.
A promotional image surfaced online revealing a single Foo Fighters concert planned for January 24, 2026, in Tasmania, Australia. This discovery happened alongside a teaser and countdown posted by @frontiertouring.
