Leonardo DiCaprio, 51, reveals midlife crisis makeover with Titanic-era highlights on night out

Leonardo DiCaprio, the famous actor, recently celebrated his 51st birthday and brought back the hairstyle he was known for during his ‘Titanic’ days.

The actor was seen sporting blonde streaks in his neatly combed hair, a style reminiscent of Leonardo DiCaprio’s hair in the movie Titanic.

On Sunday, fans caught a quick look at Leonardo DiCaprio as he left the Angelika Village East theater after a showing of his new film, One Battle After Another.

I saw DiCaprio leaving the theater with a drink, and he was so gracious, taking sips while he walked through the crowd of fans. It was amazing to see him take the time to acknowledge everyone!

The experienced entertainer kept their style simple, wearing a completely black outfit with a coat, pants, and shiny shoes.

DiCaprio surprised many by appearing without his usual face mask and baseball cap, showing his face publicly for the first time in a while.

It’s been almost 30 years since Leonardo DiCaprio played Jack Dawson, the poor but charming passenger in Titanic, and that role made him a superstar.

I remember reading an interview with Leonardo DiCaprio from 2016, where Deadline asked him if all the perks of being famous were worth losing his privacy. It really struck me because he was honestly reflecting on how much things changed for him after the film came out – how he basically lost the ability to just be without being recognized.

Before Titanic came out, I didn’t understand the impact a movie could have. It was a real shock to me. People kept telling me how huge it was, and I’d agree it was a big film. But they’d insist it was the biggest movie ever, and I just didn’t get what that meant. I figured it was successful and a lot of people were watching it, but I didn’t grasp the scale of it all.

What followed was a shift from his craft.

After the success of Titanic, he found his life changed, focusing on things other than acting. He described the film as a turning point for both him and Kate Winslet, explaining they had both primarily worked on smaller, independent projects before that. They decided to take on Titanic together, believing they could succeed if they collaborated.

We succeeded, and the outcome was completely unexpected. I realized we needed to pause and assess the situation before refocusing on my original goals. I anticipated a period of adjustment and understood there was an expectation for me to act a certain way, but I needed to return to my initial intentions.

Titanic tells the story of a young, wealthy woman who falls in love with a passenger from a lower social class aboard the ill-fated ship.

The film featured a strong supporting cast alongside Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, including Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, and Bill Paxton.

Critics loved the feature when it was released, and it still has a high approval rating of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Titanic initially earned almost $2 billion, and with several re-releases, it has now made even more.

For several years, this movie was the highest-grossing film ever made. However, it was later surpassed by Avatar, another film directed by James Cameron, released in 2009.

Titanic was put up for a total of 14 Academy Awards and won 11, including Best Picture.
