Radiohead forced to reschedule two shows on comeback tour due to illness as band say they are ‘devastated’

Radiohead have postponed a pair of Copenhagen gigs on December 1 and 2, due to illness.

Oh my god, I just heard that Thom Yorke is really sick! Apparently, he’s got this terrible throat infection, and they’re doing everything they can to get him better. He has to be okay! Those Copenhagen and Berlin shows are so important, and I’m praying he’ll be well enough to perform. I’m so worried about him, but I’m hoping this treatment works and he gets back on stage soon. I can’t imagine those concerts without him!

The Creep hitmakers are ‘devastated’ and ‘feel terrible’ for the fans.

Radiohead announced they have to postpone two upcoming shows because Thom Yorke has a throat infection that prevents him from being able to sing. They expressed their disappointment at having to cancel so close to the performance dates.

Thom is currently receiving treatment, and we’re optimistic he’ll be well enough to perform at the last two Copenhagen concerts on December 4th and 5th, as well as all four shows in Berlin beginning on December 8th.

We’ve been incredibly touched by the amazing response from the audience on this tour and are really enjoying being back on stage. Unfortunately, we’re very sorry to announce that we won’t be able to perform tonight or tomorrow.

The two postponed concerts will now take place on December 15 and 16.

Your tickets for the shows will be valid for the rescheduled dates. If you’d prefer a refund instead, please get in touch with whoever you bought the tickets from.

The band’s recent return to touring has been incredibly successful. They even made history by selling out four shows in a row at London’s O2 Arena.

I was absolutely blown away by the recent shows! Seeing them back in the UK after so long was incredible, and the crowds were unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed at that venue. They completely smashed all previous attendance records – it was a truly historic run, and I was so lucky to be a part of it.

The band played four shows on November 21st, 22nd, 24th, and 25th, and each night drew over 22,200 fans. Attendance increased with each performance, reaching a peak of 22,355 on the final night – the highest number ever recorded at the O2 venue.

Radiohead has broken the record previously held by Metallica since 2017, proving their continued popularity and ability to attract huge crowds even after many years as a band.

Radiohead’s concerts have delighted audiences with a blend of their most famous songs and lesser-known tracks, solidifying their reputation for shows that are both surprising and memorable.
