Guess who? US singer has fans doing a double take as she arrives in Sydney looking VERY different

Doja Cat surprised fans on Sunday when she arrived in Sydney with a much simpler, less extravagant appearance.

Gone was the hyper-glam pop persona she’s known for.

The famous American singer, age 30, looked completely different when she met her fans outside the hotel.

Doja’s fresh-faced appearance and curly dark hair looked a world away from her stage persona.

She chose a relaxed yet polished outfit, pairing a slightly unbuttoned white shirt with well-fitting black trousers. The look subtly showed a glimpse of her midriff.

She topped her outfit with a large, black coat, letting it fall loosely around her shoulders for a comfortable, effortless look.

The singer emerged from a black SUV, looking calm and composed. She carried a black leather handbag and signed autographs with a gentle smile.

She wore very little makeup, letting her natural skin show through – a big change from the glamorous, heavily made-up look she usually sports at events.

This outfit is a noticeable change from her typical red carpet style. She recently wowed everyone in a sparkling gold dress with dramatic curls, but this look is much more subtle.

The singer is facing backlash from fans after a chaotic scene at Ms Collins nightclub in Melbourne over the weekend.

The highly anticipated one-night show completely sold out, and fans paid between $75 and $130 to see the superstar perform.

Doja Cat kept her audience waiting over three hours before taking the stage. She performed only three songs, explained she was having trouble with her voice, and then cut the show short after about fifteen minutes.

She did not return.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen firsthand how important clear communication is, and a recent concert really highlighted that. One fan shared with the Herald Sun that the show was a real disappointment, and honestly, they felt the artist should have let everyone know if she wasn’t feeling well beforehand. It’s all about setting expectations and being upfront – it makes a huge difference in how people experience things.

A fan said it would have been better if Doja Cat had let people know sooner what was going on, and maybe even offered to play her own music as a DJ.

Honestly, as someone who really pays attention to live performances, I was a little disappointed with the artist’s stage time. Fifteen minutes just didn’t feel like enough, and I think the audience would have loved to see her up there for longer. It left a lot of us feeling a bit let down, to be frank.

Another unimpressed attendee tweeted: ‘Three songs and so much money later im heartbroken.’

Someone else complained, saying they waited four hours to see Doja Cat at Ms Collins, but she only performed for ten minutes, leaving them extremely frustrated.

One attendee expressed frustration on TikTok, stating that the artist’s refusal to issue refunds was disrespectful to fans.

Doja has not publicly addressed the backlash.
