Genshin Impact is releasing Version 6.2 on December 3rd, 2025, and it will run until January 13th, 2026. This update includes limited-time events, new characters, and returning character banners. Here’s a look at the event calendar so you know what to expect!

Genshin Impact Version 6.2 Full Event Calendar Phase 1: Full List of Events

Phase 1 Character and Weapon Banner (Dec 3, 2025 to Dec 24, 2025)

I’m so excited for the next update! It looks like Phase 2 will bring a new character and a new Weapons Banner. We’re getting Durin in Phase 1 with his special weapon, and Venti is getting another chance – a rerun banner, plus a brand new 5-star weapon for him! There’s also a new 4-star character named Jahoda coming, along with two other 4-star characters to look forward to.

Bing-Bang Finchball

The first event in the Version 6.2 Update is Bing-Bang Finchball. This ball-throwing event challenges you to play Finchball and complete various objectives. Completing the event will reward you with 420 Primogems, Mora, and materials to improve your characters’ talents.

Stygian Onslaught (Dec 10, 2025, to Jan 13, 2026)

Genshin Impact’s most challenging endgame content will be available again from December 10, 2025, to January 13, 2026. Players who participate will earn 450 Primogems and a variety of other in-game resources.

Web Event Mili Snow Resort, Party in Wonderland

If you participate in this web event, you can earn up to 40 primogems and 160 wonderland currency.

Genshin Impact Version 6.2 Event Calendar Phase 2: Soulblazers’ Snowbound Journey (Dec 19, 2025, to Jan 5, 2026)

The biggest highlight of Version 6.2 is the Soulblazers’ Snowbound Journey event. Players can earn a total of 1120 Primogems, along with a new 4-star bow, resources to upgrade weapons, Mora (the in-game currency), Seriana pt furniture, and other useful items.

Phase 2 Character and Weapon Banner (Dec 23, 2025, to Jan 13, 2026)

Following the initial release in Version 6.2, a new character and weapons banner will become available. Varesa will have her first rerun banner, featuring her special weapon, and Xilonen will have her second rerun banner with her signature weapon. Three additional 4-star characters will also be featured, with details to be announced soon (expected around December 21, 2025).

Heroic Clash Saurian Braul (Dec 29, 2025, to Jan 7, 2026)

During this event, players team up with their Saurian companion to collect trial coins. As a reward, they can earn 420 Primogems, materials to improve character talents, Mora (the in-game currency), and other useful items.

Web Event Memories of the Moon (Dec 31, 2025, to Jan 13, 2026)

Every player can earn 160 Primogems and some character ascension materials from this web event.

Marvelous Merchandise (Jan 7, 2026, to Jan 12, 2026)

As a player, I’m really excited about this! We can trade materials with Liben for some awesome rewards, and the best part is we can earn a total of 280 Primogems just from this event! It’s definitely worth checking when these limited-time events are happening and planning out my gameplay around them to make the most of it.
