Oh my gosh, Tina O’Brien is Sarah-Louise Platt, and let me tell you, her years on Corrie have been absolutely wild! It’s been one dramatic thing after another for her character, and honestly, I’ve been hooked on every single moment. It’s been such a colorful ride watching her on the cobbles!
Besides her role on the long-running ITV soap opera, the actress’s personal life has also been quite chaotic recently.
News broke last week that her six-month relationship with millionaire interior designer Adam Fadle had come to an end.
The split seems to have been difficult. Tina, 42, immediately removed all photos of Adam from her Instagram, even pictures from their recent romantic trip to Greece in September.
This is the first romantic relationship the celebrity has had since her divorce from Adam Crofts last Christmas. It comes after a difficult period in her personal life, including a previous, upsetting split from her Coronation Street colleague, Ryan Thomas – details of which we’ll cover shortly.

One issue involves Tina’s 17-year-old daughter, Scarlett, who was born during a difficult relationship with her former colleague, Thomas.
Scarlett is an aspiring actress, like her parents, but she can be quite challenging as a teenager. Sources say she sometimes causes her mother, Tina, a lot of stress.
There was one event that would truly surprise those who know the Thomas and O’Brien families, but I can’t share the details due to legal restrictions.
Almost three years ago, Tina mentioned how challenging it’s been raising her ambitious daughter, Scarlett, who first became known for playing Izzy Charles, a student on the BBC show Waterloo Road.
I previously reported that people in Manchester were upset because Scarlett and her cousin Teddy—the son of Ryan’s brother Adam Thomas, a fellow actor from the BBC series—both landed parts on the show, while others with fewer connections didn’t even get a chance to audition.
Tina was incredibly angry and shared her frustrations online about the challenges of raising a teenage daughter whose father and uncles were constantly putting her in the public eye.
She shared that Scarlett had been taking drama classes since the age of four, and believed this early training was the reason she was already succeeding in landing acting roles.
She shared on Instagram how difficult it’s been dealing with the negative reaction, and how she’s trying to shield her 14-year-old daughter from the hurtful comments being directed at her.
The celebrity is feuding with Ryan because Ryan frequently shares videos of their daughter on TikTok.
According to someone close to Tina, she’s frustrated with Ryan’s actions and hopes Scarlett will pursue a career, rather than just focusing on social media. However, their co-parenting relationship has been very difficult.
Let me tell you, as someone who’s seen a lot of relationships, it’s tough being with someone who’s going through a hard time. If I were dating Tina, and she was dealing with these challenges, it would definitely require a lot of patience and understanding. It’s about being supportive while also taking care of my own well-being, which is a balancing act many of us face.

Tina is also a mother to a ten-year-old son, Beau, from her previous marriage to Adam Crofts, a personal trainer.
According to a source, she’s raising two children who are very different ages, and she’s doing it as a single mother while also working. It’s already a challenging situation, and adding a new romantic partner makes it even more difficult.

Oh my god, you will NOT believe the drama! Back in 2022, things totally blew up between Tina and Ryan. He actually claimed she destroyed his Range Rover with a baseball bat – can you even imagine?! Apparently, it caused around £1,000 in damage. I’ve been following this saga forever, and it was insane!
This happened after Tina made a number of angry posts on social media directed at Ryan, who was then dating Lucy Mecklenburgh, a star of the show Towie.
Last year, a video surfaced showing Tina involved in a street fight with two teenagers near her expensive home in a nice part of Manchester, adding to her already public struggles.
The actress was caught on video yelling at a group of teenage girls, who seemed to be about 15 years old, telling them to leave her property. She then reportedly began hitting them and was restrained in a headlock. Although the police investigated the incident, they ultimately decided not to press charges, concluding that the actress had acted in self-defense.
According to a former coworker, Tina’s behavior isn’t shocking. She’s known for being energetic and occasionally that energy leads to arguments and outbursts.
She tends to respond with harsh words when things don’t go her way, and she’s always acted as if she deserves special treatment.
People close to her say she once hoped to become a much larger star after taking a break from the soap opera in 2008. When that didn’t pan out, she went back to the show in 2015 and has been a regular ever since, recently renewing her contract.
This has made some people question if her recent outbursts are due to dissatisfaction with how her career is going.
Oh my gosh, Tina was everywhere back then! Seriously, she was a total star – everyone knew her name. When she left the show, it was madness! She was on the cover of all the magazines, all the tabloids… she really thought she was going to conquer the world, and honestly, I thought she would too. She was convinced bigger and better things were waiting for her, and I was rooting for her every step of the way!
Honestly, it was a bit heartbreaking to watch. She really tried to make a change, but things just didn’t pan out and she found herself right back where she began. Everyone around her could tell she was disappointed – she’d built up such high hopes for some truly amazing opportunities, and it just didn’t happen.
Honestly, Tina could be so difficult, really moody and easily upset. It always made me worry about her relationship with Adam, and I couldn’t help but think all that negativity might have been what ultimately drove them apart. It just felt like too much for anyone to handle, and I feared it would eventually be the end for them.
