Liam Gallagher announced he’s quitting alcohol permanently, saying he feels no longer tempted after playing what he considers the final Oasis reunion concert in Brazil.
As someone who always prioritizes well-being, I’m really impressed with Liam and Noel Gallagher! They just finished a huge run of shows in Sao Paulo, and to make sure their voices were in top shape, they both decided to give up smoking and alcohol beforehand. It’s a testament to their dedication to their craft – and looking after themselves, of course!
Despite celebrating with ‘a few beers’, Liam admitted that e is very much done with booze.
Okay, so he finally posted after the show, and it was…weird. He basically said he had a couple of beers and then realized he was slipping! Like, he’s calling it being ‘off the righteous path’ and says he’s back to being good now, free from…temptation? Honestly, it’s so him. It’s like he felt guilty about even having a beer! I’m analyzing every word, obviously.
Fans reacted to Liam’s news with congratulations, expressing how proud they were of his positive lifestyle changes.
Liam recently told a fan on Twitter that he was working on improving his life, recognizing how important the tour was to everyone who planned to attend.

Liam recently shared with a fan that Oasis was incredibly important to him, helping him through difficult times. He explained he’s finally getting his life back on track and understands how much his fans care, which is why he’s committed to giving up drinking, smoking, and using drugs – sacrifices he felt were necessary to make.
I always find it charming when people let a little personality shine through, even in professional communication. This sender finished his message with ‘thems the rules MCFC’ – a fun reference to his favorite football team, Manchester City, who just had an incredible treble-winning season! It’s a small detail, but it shows he’s a real person with passions, and I think that’s great.
When a fan asked if he ever missed having a Guinness, Liam responded that he did miss rambling nonsensically when he was very drunk.
Experts predict that the brothers could earn as much as £400 million from their world tour, which includes 41 performances.
Liam was already seeing significant benefits from the Oasis reunion, even before the band began performing.
Fans were shocked last year when Liam and Noel Gallagher announced they’d be performing together again. The brothers hadn’t shared a stage for 16 years, ever since a famous fight backstage in Paris led to the breakup of their band, Oasis.
As expected, the Oasis Live ’25 world tour sold out instantly, even though tickets were incredibly expensive. Liam and Noel Gallagher were projected to each make over £50 million just from ticket sales.
Even before the tour began, Liam had already earned a significant amount of money – reportedly £5.2 million – before their first concert in Cardiff on July 4th.

Financial reports filed with Companies House show that Liam’s company, Will Power Touring – established last year to provide support for performing arts events – earned income, with Liam being its only employee.
The business generated around £19,000 in revenue each day over nine months, from June 2024 to March of this year. This period was four months before the tour even started, which indicates Liam likely received a large sum of money upfront.
Before Oasis even considered getting back together, Liam and Noel Gallagher were already wealthy thanks to the earnings from the band’s music publishing rights. This information came to light in August.
Big Brother Recordings, the company owned by the duo, earned £3.6 million in 2024. This translates to roughly £69,000 per week and left the company with assets totaling £10.2 million by the time their tour began.
