Alex Scott looked happy to see her friends and family waiting for her at the hotel after being the first celebrity voted off of ‘I’m A Celebrity.’
Former soccer player Jill Scott, 41, was the first contestant eliminated from ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ on Friday night. She described her time on the show as ‘mentally tough’.
Alex found himself in a difficult position when Eddie Kadi, who was expected to be the first contestant eliminated, was saved from the public vote after winning a live challenge.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! I was practically glued to my screen when I saw Alex being met by Regan Coleman right on that famous bridge – it was magical! Then, she headed to the Marriott in Surfers Paradise, and I just know she was surrounded by all the other cast members’ loved ones. I wish I could have been there to witness it all!
Alex appeared upset when she arrived at the hotel Wednesday night. She was greeted by Jeremy Parisi, who is married to Kelly Brook, Shirlie Holliman, wife of Martin Kemp, and Al Benkovic, Lisa Riley’s fiancé.
Shona McGarty’s sister, Camilla, and Jack Osbourne’s wife, Aree Gearhart, along with their three-year-old daughter Maple, were also seen at the hotel.

The commentator received enthusiastic applause from her fellow contestants as she swiftly packed her bag and exited the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ camp for good.
Talking with Ant and Dec, she shared how relieved she was to be released, saying it felt surreal. She explained she was still processing it, feeling like she was finally able to say, ‘I’m out!’
When asked if she was upset to be the first contestant voted off the show, Alex responded that she wasn’t disappointed at all. She described the experience as incredible and challenging, and expressed gratitude for having shared it with such wonderful people.
‘The laughter we have had and we really connected and making the bonds that we did.’
Alex was caught bringing in salt hidden in her sock and shown the video of her doing so. She laughed and admitted she didn’t know exactly how many packets she’d smuggled, explaining she’d simply put them in her sock.
At first, I used a spoon to give it to Jack, who would then mix it into his rice. This meant the other people in camp found out about it.
Ant and Dec questioned her about the most difficult part of being in the jungle, right as she was playfully blaming Martin Kemp for something.
Alex shared that there’s a problem with the toilet – it often smells bad and someone consistently leaves the seat up. However, they feel unable to address it because the person responsible is highly respected and admired.

Before crossing the famous bridge, Alex shared her prediction for the ITV show’s winner, saying she’s rooting for Shona. While she also likes Ginge and Aitch and hopes they make it to the final, she believes a win would really boost Shona’s confidence.
When the commentator exited the ‘I’m a Celebrity’ bridge, she was met by her friend Regan Coleman. Her partner, Jess Glynne, is currently back in the UK.
Jess explained that she couldn’t welcome Alex Scott on the bridge during ‘I’m A Celeb’ because her mother had a serious stroke and needed brain surgery.
Singer Mabel, 36, explained why she wasn’t at the bridge to meet her girlfriend after her girlfriend was the first contestant eliminated from ‘I’m A Celebrity.’ They’ve been together for two years.
As soon as Alex emerged from the jungle, I was so saddened to hear the news, and honestly, a little frustrated. I was really hoping to see more of him on TV as a football commentator, but it seems like he wasn’t given much airtime, which was a real disappointment.
I’m incredibly proud of her, even though she was eliminated sooner than she should have been. She didn’t get enough recognition for how amazing she is, but this is just the start of her journey.

I understand people are curious about my absence at the bridge, and I wanted to explain what happened from my side.
‘Over the last few weeks my mum suffered a major stroke and needed urgent brain surgery.
‘It’s been really serious, life-altering time for my family and I’ve had to stay close to home.
‘Alex would always want me to be where I’m needed most. I can’t wait to have her back by my side.’
