Amber Le Bon is seen for the first time with her baby boy as she enjoys a lavish lunch at Claridge’s in London after welcoming first child with boyfriend Ben Mercer

Amber Le Bon was spotted with her baby boy for the first time, enjoying a fancy lunch at Claridge’s in London on Friday.

Model Saffron Le Bon, 36, and her boyfriend Ben Mercer privately welcomed their son, Sasha Echo Le Bon Mercer, on January 30th. Saffron is the daughter of musician Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran and his wife, Yasmin.

Amber seemed happy and relaxed as she was seen out in public for the first time with her new baby.

She looked stunning in a low-cut top paired with a long, fashionable black leather skirt.

Amber, wearing beige heels, walked into the luxurious hotel while pushing her son in a stroller.

The model pulled her long hair back into a low bun, then finished her look with a cozy beige coat and a bold gold necklace.

Amber has been recently sharing a number of sweet photos of her baby boy on social media.

This follows the model’s recent disclosure about her difficult labor, during which her son was delivered with the assistance of forceps.

I was absolutely thrilled to read Amber’s interview in HELLO! magazine. She just gushed about how completely head-over-heels she is! She said she can’t take her eyes off him and jokingly wonders how she’ll ever get anything done again! It’s so sweet – all she wants to do is cuddle him and just breathe him in. It’s the cutest thing ever, honestly!

We were choosing between two candidates, and as soon as I saw him, I knew he felt like a ‘Sasha’ to me. It’s a name I’ve always really liked.

‘Echo is a name from Greek mythology, and we liked the way it flowed on from his first name.’

Amber was in labor for 40 hours before welcoming Sasha, who weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces. Both her partner, Ben, and her mother were with her at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

She praised her partner for being wonderful during the childbirth, which happened while thunderstorm sounds played from speakers.

Amber described how Ben cut the umbilical cord, and the newborn baby was placed on her chest. She was initially in shock, but quickly began to cry with emotion.

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! Amber, she’s seriously amazing, brought her baby-to-be with her on Duran Duran’s US tour when she was like, super pregnant! And get this – the little guy is already a fan! Can you even imagine? A Duran Duran baby! It’s the cutest, most perfect thing ever, honestly. I’m officially obsessed with this family!

Amber playfully called her developing baby ‘Sparkles’, inspired by the many sparkly outfits she wore while on tour. She felt her baby move in time with the classic songs she performed.

Amber revealed she’s pregnant on November 7, 2024, sharing adorable photos of her baby bump on Instagram.

She looked beautiful and healthy as she announced her pregnancy, gently holding her growing belly.

The influencer shared a photo and hinted at an exciting announcement. Her caption read, ‘[Swipe to the end for a big surprise] This is one of my favorite looks from when I was on tour with Duran Duran. Something’s coming…’

Amber was seen showing off her baby bump in London shortly after publicly announcing her pregnancy.

The woman with brown hair looked stunning at the Stone & Mason Autumn/Winter 2024 collection dinner held at Julies in Holland Park.

She wore a little black dress with eye-catching leopard print sleeves while enjoying a glass of Wild Idol sparkling non-alcoholic wine.

After the news was released, it was revealed that Amber’s boyfriend is Ben Merce, a TikTok creator and former rugby player.

Amber kept the identity of her child’s father private until she announced the baby’s arrival.

Ben used to be a professional rugby player, but he transitioned to writing as a career. He’s also gained a large following on social media by sharing content about books.

The author has published four books so far. Their first book was a number one bestseller on Amazon and was also nominated for the prestigious William Hill Sports Book of the Year award in 2020. It offered a look into the personal lives of professional athletes beyond their public image.

His second book, Our Race, tells the story of Great Britain’s 4x100m relay team. Heading into the 2004 Athens Olympics, the team was struggling and at a low point, but they ultimately competed on the world stage.

Okay, so ‘Endgame’ isn’t just a movie to me, it’s everything. It’s basically the ultimate guide for athletes when their playing days are over. It doesn’t just talk about retirement, it shows them how to actually transition into what’s next, like a whole new career. It’s a lifesaver, honestly, helping them figure out life after the game. I’ve read it like five times!

His new book, Superstrengths, acts as a guide to help people differentiate themselves in today’s world of endless options.

Ben shares on his website that he also sends out a weekly newsletter where he talks about his current thoughts, what he’s learning, and updates on his book and other creative work.

He’s a versatile creator with experience writing, telling the stories for, and producing audiobooks. He’s also advised top athletes and organizations, and developed content for major global brands.

Before pursuing a career as a writer and content creator, Ben played professional rugby. However, he says it didn’t quite live up to his expectations.

He shared that he played on and led both his school and university sports teams. While still in school, he was also recognized for his talent and invited to join the Bath Academy.

In addition to being captain of his university team, he also played for the Newcastle Falcons Academy and Blaydon RFC.

Ben feels a major letdown was representing England at age group levels. He earned a spot on the England Students team while at university, but unfortunately a hamstring injury prevented him from playing.

Amber is the daughter of Duran Duran frontman Simon, 66, and supermodel Yasmin Le Bon, 60.

Like her mother, Amber became a model during her career.

The couple also have two other grown up daughters Saffron, 33, and 30-year-old Tallulah.

Yasmin revealed last year that she and her husband, Simon, don’t plan to renew their wedding vows. She described their wedding 36 years ago as somewhat chaotic and unpolished.

The supermodel says she’s still deeply in love with her husband, whom she married in 1985. While they considered renewing their vows, the couple simply didn’t feel like going through the effort of planning another celebration.
