Even though the current season is still running, Clash Royale has given us a sneak peek at its event schedule for early December 2025. Let’s take a look at what Season 78 has in store!

Game Modes, Events, and Challenges

This month brings three exciting events, featuring the comeback of a popular game mode and special challenges to celebrate the season.

1. 2v2 League

The 2v2 League is back from December 15th to 29th! Team up with a friend and battle your way through the ranks to earn rewards after a long hiatus. Many players hope this event becomes a permanent feature.

2. Hero Draft Challenge

Running from December 5th to 8th, 2025, this challenge invites you to create a deck using the newest ‘Heroes’ cards, building the rest of your strategy around them. It’s planned to be the first challenge available after the December 2025 update launches.

3. Hoggy Jolly Holiday Challenge

From December 12th to 15th, 2025, join a special holiday challenge filled with festive fun! Expect seasonal decorations and unique gameplay that captures the spirit of the holidays.

Clash Royale December 2025 Rewards

This month’s rewards include Battle Banners, Tower Skins, a Magic Lucky Chest, Evolution Shards for Furnace, and other items to help you progress. Plus, a free Hero is available as a special bonus during the holidays!

I’m really hoping this free Hero they’re offering lets us choose which one we get, but it’s still unclear if it’ll be random. While we wait for the December season to start, I’ll be checking out other Clash Royale news and guides!
