Radio star Robin Bailey has been left devastated after her radio show was axed.
The host of KIIS FM appeared visibly upset leaving the Brisbane studios after news broke that her breakfast show, co-hosted by Kip Wightman and Corey Oates, would end two weeks sooner than expected.
She was seen leaning against a car wiping away tears from her cheek.
Robin started working in Brisbane radio in 1995. When she appeared, she looked upset and was holding her arms tightly across her chest, showing she was really distressed by what had happened.
She was later seen pausing on the stairs to gather herself before re-entering the building.
The woman, 55 years old, was dressed in snakeskin shorts and a brown shirt. She accessorized with multiple bangles and wore Birkenstock sandals.

In October, it was revealed that Kip, Corey, and Robin, the hosts of Brisbane’s breakfast radio show, will be finishing up by the end of the year.
Although they previously announced their show would end on December 12th, the group revealed this week that their final performance will actually be this Friday.
Okay, so they just posted a little video on Instagram, and it’s titled ‘2nd last show stitch-up’! I’m freaking out because it basically confirms they’re leaving even sooner than we all thought! It’s like they’re giving us a little sneak peek into their final days, and honestly, I’m not ready!
The unexpected announcement came as Kip and Corey shared their future plans: a podcast celebrating the Brisbane Broncos, featuring NRL legend Sam Thaiday.
The Unofficial Broncos Podcast with Sammy, Oatsey and Kip is slated to launch in February 2026.
Speaking about the pair’s new appointment, Kip was quick to joke about their recent unemployment.
He explained that when the radio station announced they were ‘making changes,’ they initially assumed it simply meant they would be getting new furniture.
‘Turns out the “changes” were us leaving. So yeah, podcasting felt like a natural step down.’

Corey humbly explained he joined the podcast because he didn’t want his colleague at KIIS to feel isolated.
‘Kip lost his job, and I thought, why should he suffer alone?’ he said.
‘Besides, Sammy said he’d shout lunch if I joined, and I’m easily convinced.’
The announcement that these three were let go happened only a few months after Corey, a former star player for the Brisbane Broncos, joined the show following his retirement from professional rugby league last year.
ARN announced that the last episode of the show will air on December 12th.
The spokesperson commended the hosts, highlighting their dedication, innovative ideas, and effort to create a great experience for the Brisbane audience.
The statement also noted their important contributions and said they will be honored soon.
The announcement of Craig ‘Lowie’ Low as their replacement in October surprised many people.
People familiar with the situation criticized the appointment, with one source telling the Courier Mail the new hire was an inferior version of Kyle Sandilands.
The source expressed strong disappointment and upset about the team being replaced, saying it was deeply upsetting to them.
