Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs spent Thanksgiving in prison, beginning a four-year sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey after being convicted on charges related to prostitution.
The former hip-hop executive, 56, who was once famous for his extravagant parties, experienced a much simpler meal plan this year, consisting of bran flakes, cold cuts, and standard prison fare.
According to People magazine, breakfast at the prison is typically served around 6:30 a.m. and consists of bran flakes, whole wheat bread, a banana, and two packets of jelly with margarine, along with a serving of skim milk.
Lunch, served from 11 a.m. to noon, was a Thanksgiving-style meal. Prisoners could choose between roasted turkey or a soy chicken option, both served with vegetables, cornbread, and dressing.
The meal came with baked sweet potato, mashed potatoes, corn, chicken gravy, and whole wheat bread with margarine. Inmates could also select either a piece of fruit or a special holiday dessert, plus a drink.
Dinner was served at 4:30 p.m., and inmates could choose between a deli and cheese sandwich or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. They also had a choice of sides, including chips, fruit, dessert, or bread and jelly.

The rapper will also spend Christmas in prison.
Christmas dinner will be traditional, but for lunch, there’s a choice: a baked Cornish hen instead of the usual soy chicken and vegetables. All the side dishes and the option of dessert or fruit will stay the same.
Diddy’s jail release has been delayed, reportedly because authorities believe he consumed illegal alcohol and made a prohibited three-way phone call. Initial estimates for his release were inaccurate.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was originally scheduled to be released from prison on May 8, 2028, but according to prison records obtained by Page Six, his release has been delayed until June 4, 2028.
It’s not clear why prison officials altered his four-year sentence for two convictions related to human trafficking.
Since being moved to a New Jersey prison on October 30th, Combs is said to have broken the rules multiple times.
According to TMZ sources, the rapper was allegedly seen drinking a mix of fermented Fanta, sugar, and apples. However, his team has stated that these reports are false.
A statement posted on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ X account denies rumors that he was found with alcohol, calling them untrue.
‘His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family.’
A representative for the musicians behind “I’ll Be Missing You” told the Daily Mail that the artist hasn’t broken any prison rules and is concentrating on staying healthy during his time in prison.

The spokesperson stated that staying sober and maintaining self-control are very important to him, and he’s fully committed to doing so.
A representative for Combs pointed out that he’s only been at Fort Dix prison for a week, and it’s expected that rumors will spread while he’s incarcerated.
We’re asking everyone to be understanding and give him space to work on himself and rebuild his life peacefully.
Shortly after that, Combs allegedly faced disciplinary action for making a three-way phone call, which broke prison regulations.
CBS News obtained prison records showing the rapper made a phone call on November 3rd. During the call, he mentioned needing to talk to someone he referred to as ‘the digital person’ regarding some blogs.
The woman supposedly asked Combs if she should include the other person on the call, and he said yes.
He quickly spoke with the woman about setting up weekend visits, and then she brought another man onto the call.
However, the Bureau of Prisons doesn’t allow inmates to make three-way calls or add extra people to their phone conversations. They can only talk to people who are already on a pre-approved list, and they must use the prison’s phone system.
This measure aims to stop prisoners from working together to commit crimes, like smuggling drugs, causing gang fights, or threatening people who might testify against them.

Combs explained he was talking with his lawyer, and that his lawyer had included the head of legal communications – who was drafting a statement for Combs to review – on the call, intended for communication with The New York Times.
I’ve been following the news about Combs, and it’s good to hear he’s settling into prison life okay. Apparently, things are going better than expected – he’s even managed to get into a really competitive drug rehab program! If he completes it, he could potentially have a year taken off his sentence, which is fantastic news.
Combs’ attorneys asked the judge who handled his case to let him enter a live-in drug treatment program. They argued that his ongoing drug use significantly contributed to the notorious parties he hosted.
In a letter to the judge before his sentencing last month, Combs took responsibility for his actions, attributing them to past drug use. He stated he had been sober for the first time in 25 years and was actively working to overcome both his drug abuse and anger problems.
Judge Arun Subramanian decided to allow Combs to begin the program even while still held at the New Jersey prison, a rare opportunity for new federal inmates.
According to his representative, Mr. Combs has been fully engaged in the Residential Drug Abuse Program and committed to his recovery from the beginning.
‘He is fully engaged in his work, focused on growth and committed to positive change.’
I’ve been following everything about Combs, and you won’t BELIEVE this – he’s landed a gig as the chaplain’s assistant inside! Apparently, it’s one of the best jobs you can get in there, according to CBS News. Seriously, he’s thriving, even in there! I’m so proud!
According to a former prison commissioner, inmates who work as assistants usually help maintain the chaplain’s religious library, keep their office clean, and assist with basic record-keeping tasks. The specific duties can change, but these are common examples.
This job offers the inmate a comfortable workspace – a private office with air conditioning – and the perk of occasionally sharing food brought in for religious events by chaplains.
Sometimes, chaplains let their assistants create lists of inmates who are permitted to leave their cells for programs or medical appointments. Unfortunately, this has led to situations where assistants have added their friends to these lists.
According to publicist Juda Engelmayer, Sean Combs enjoys his work at the chapel library, finding it to be a warm, respectful, and fulfilling place.

The rapper grew up Catholic, but has since said he doesn’t follow any particular religion.
He’s mentioned God in posts online and was observed reading the Bible while in court for his federal trial.
Combs has brought back his ‘Free Game With Diddy’ program for inmates, aiming to teach them business skills, build their confidence, and help them successfully rejoin society.
He had previously run the program while being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center Brooklyn.
