Honey G unveils a glamorous new look after trading the trainers for a little glass slipper as she prepares for a starring role in new panto production of Cinderella

She became famous after appearing on The X Factor, despite not quite making it to the final. People remembered her for her unique style – baseball caps, mirrored sunglasses, and lyrics that weren’t always perfect.

After a long break, Honey G has returned, trading her signature sneakers for glass slippers! She’s now starring in a pantomime version of Cinderella.

Rapper Anna Gilford, known for her controversial style, will star as one of the evil step-sisters in a pantomime production at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall, starting December 13th. She’ll be joined by David Potts, famous from the reality show Ibiza Weekender, who will also play a step-sister.

On Thursday, 44-year-old Honey shared a photo on Instagram revealing her dramatic new look after a makeover at a Cheshire location, leaving many fans surprised.

I’m so excited to share that I’ll be playing the Fairy Godmother in this year’s pantomime! I’m starting my run in Ellesmere Port and will be there all the way up to Christmas Eve. Then, we’re packing up and heading to Fleetwood Marine Hall in Lancashire to continue the fun right after Christmas, starting on December 27th. It’s going to be a magical season, and I can’t wait to see you all there!

Vicky Entwistle, known for her role on Coronation Street, will play the Fairy Godmother, and Stacey Coleman will star as Cinderella, joining the cast onstage.

Honey has shared that she looks drastically different after losing fourteen pounds through dedicated exercise, and feels much more confident in her body as a result.

She initially lost weight during the 2021 lockdown and has since challenged herself by completing four triathlons and a 20-mile run.

In a recent interview, Honey shared that she’s been working out and has seen a change in her physique. She playfully mentioned that this has stopped her from being playfully pursued by school children while shopping.

I worked with a personal trainer for nearly two years, focusing a lot on building strength. Combined with my running, I really started to notice changes in my body.

I don’t get recognized on the street much anymore, and people online have said I look completely different – which is pretty accurate.

I’m not claiming I enjoyed being pursued by students in a mall, but honestly, noticing changes in my body motivated me even further.

Honey changed her body shape by going from a size 18 to a size 12 while the coronavirus pandemic was happening.

She previously shared in an interview that she now feels comfortable wearing clothes she never would have considered before, and even enjoys wearing lingerie.

Oh my gosh, she actually said it! She told Closer magazine that getting rid of her old look – you know, the baseball caps and bomber jackets – and embracing more sophisticated outfits after losing weight has seriously boosted her confidence! And honestly, it shows! She’s getting so many compliments now, and I totally understand why. It’s like she’s blossomed, and I’m living for it!

She used to wear very large clothes, up to a size 18, but she’s gotten rid of most of them now that her style has changed.

I now have the confidence to wear clothes I used to only imagine, and I’ve even been able to buy lingerie from Victoria’s Secret that fits well.

Oh my gosh, remember 2020? Honey looked amazing after finishing a triathlon for charity! She actually said she’d gotten in better shape during lockdown than she had ever in her entire life. I was so proud of her, it was incredible to see her dedication!

In September 2021, she completed a triathlon and posted a photo on Instagram showing her at the finish line at Box End Park.
