Rebel Wilson reveals she and co-star Kiefer Sutherland became ‘obsessed’ with ‘exquisite’ Greggs sausage rolls while filming in UK – and delights in £1.25 price tag!

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Apparently, Greggs sausage rolls aren’t just a national treasure here in the UK – Rebel Wilson just told everyone that she and Kiefer Sutherland are totally obsessed with them too! Can you imagine?! Those perfect, flaky, porky little rolls have conquered Hollywood! For just £1.25, you can have a piece of heaven…and apparently, so can Kiefer! I KNEW they were amazing, but this just proves it!

The two actors appear together in a new Christmas film called Tinsel Town. Filmed in Leeds and Harrogate, the movie centers around Keifer’s character, a former Hollywood action star who is conned into performing in a British pantomime.

While celebrities often enjoy fancy, high-end meals, Rebel Wilson, 45, admitted she prefers the simple pleasure of Greggs pastries. Her co-star agreed, and Wilson also pointed out how affordable a Greggs sausage roll is.

On Thursday’s This Morning, she told Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley that her son, Kiefer, absolutely loves Greggs sausage rolls. She even had a Greggs van brought to the TV set because of his obsession!

The caterers were attempting a meat-free Wednesday, but Kiefer suggested getting a Greggs van instead, knowing the crew would love it. They even gave both of us a £50 voucher, which I still haven’t used because everything is so affordable.

Rebel was thrilled to receive a Greggs hamper from Ben and Cat, and jokingly encouraged anyone unfamiliar with the bakery’s quality to try it, just like she and Kiefer did.

Rebel explained that the idea for the film is charming and distinctly British, drawing on the tradition of pantomime, which isn’t really a thing in the United States.

Even though Rebel Wilson said she loved pastries, she revealed earlier this year that she was getting back in shape after indulging in too much chocolate at Easter.

The actress, who lost over 80 pounds in 2021, shared that she’s lost even more weight by recently changing what she eats.

She admitted on Instagram that the first few days of cutting out chocolate and ice cream were tough, saying she really craved them.

Rebel was thrilled to receive a hamper full of treats from Greggs, courtesy of Ben and Cat. She responded by encouraging anyone unfamiliar with Greggs’ quality to give it a try, just like she and Kiefer did.

Rebel announced earlier this year she was shaping up after overeating chocolate over Easter.

The actress, who lost over 80 pounds in 2021, shared that she’s lost even more weight recently by changing what she eats.

The health kick has resulted in a small weight loss for the performer.

She admitted to losing a little weight – about 2.2 pounds – last week, but clarified that wasn’t the goal of the challenge. She joked it just highlighted how many Easter eggs she’d been eating beforehand!

Rebel lost weight last year while focusing on her health, and she also used Ozempic to help. Now, she’s cutting out sugary foods again as part of a new effort to improve her diet.

Speaking to The Sunday Times last year, the actor admitted they could see the benefit of weight loss medications such as Ozempic and Mounjaro, explaining that someone with a strong sweet tooth, like themselves, might find them helpful.
