Kelly Osbourne was happy to see her mother enjoying herself at her first red carpet appearance since the passing of Ozzy Osbourne, saying it was ‘so nice’ to see her having ‘a little fun’.
The 73-year-old TV star made a glamorous comeback, appearing at a London event with Kelly, 41. The event was hosted by designer Rebecca Vallance.
Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic frontman of Black Sabbath and Sharon’s husband of 43 years, passed away from heart failure at his home in Buckinghamshire on July 22nd. This came just two weeks after he played a final concert with his band in Birmingham at Villa Park.
Kelly shared on Instagram the morning after the red carpet event, praising her mother’s appearance and expressing joy that she was enjoying herself. She also thanked stylist Rebecca, sending lots of love and appreciation.
According to sources at the party, the pair seemed happy and relaxed all night. They enjoyed rosé wine and ate prawn skewers.

Sharon and Kelly held hands as they smiled for photos in their beautiful gowns. The widow, Sharon, looked radiant in a sparkling burgundy dress, and Kelly wore a soft pink one.
Kelly shared a number of sweet snaps showing tender moments with her mum.
I was so happy to spend time with my mom and Rebecca Vallance at the launch event! And honestly, the dress… wow. I’ve never felt so amazing in anything I’ve worn before. It was a truly special night.
I usually wear black, but she helped me embrace brighter colors and feel confident. Her dresses always make me feel fantastic.
According to sources at the event, the couple seemed to be enjoying themselves, spending a lot of time talking with fashion designer Rebecca Vallance. Zara Tindall was also there, but the Osbournes didn’t have a chance to speak with her.
Last month, Sharon was seen looking deeply saddened in the first photos taken of her since Ozzy’s funeral.
In the years before his death, Ozzy faced several health challenges. A fall at home in 2019 significantly worsened his condition.

I’m just completely heartbroken, but seeing all the love and support everyone has been sending to Sharon after the news… it’s honestly overwhelming. She posted about it, and it’s clear how much it means to her, which makes me so happy even through all the sadness. It’s like the whole world is feeling what I’m feeling, and it’s a small comfort.
Sharon shared that she’d relied heavily on the support of friends and family, and was still adjusting to life after the loss of her husband, whom she considered the center of her world.
Her son, Jack, who is currently on the show ‘I’m A Celebrity…’, recently shared on ‘Good Morning America’ that while she’s doing alright, she’s understandably struggling, but knows she’s loved and supported.
A new BBC One documentary, Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, followed Ozzy Osbourne’s move back to the UK after living in the United States for over 30 years, alongside his wife and family.
The show included Jack and Kelly Osbourne discussing their mother Sharon’s heartbreak as Ozzy battled health issues in his final years. They described how she cared for him through difficult surgeries and tried to support him.
The program will include footage from his last concert at Villa Park, offering a look behind the scenes, and will reflect on his courageous fight with Parkinson’s disease.
This documentary comes after the Paramount+ film Ozzy: No Escape From Now, and includes an interview with Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter, Aimee, discussing the last years of his life.

Jack recalled the concert, saying he quickly went back to see the performer before they went on stage and gave them a big hug.
It was incredible. I actually kissed him! Right before, I told him to go out there and absolutely kill it, that he was going to be amazing. I was a mess, honestly – full-on tears. I was in the audience with my brother, and we were both just crying, completely overwhelmed with emotion.
It wasn’t pity that made us act the way we did, or even sadness. Looking back, I realize it was because we all knew this was the last time we’d see him. It was like a farewell gathering, a chance for him to say goodbye to everyone.
This follows Kelly Osbourne’s emotional revelation about witnessing her mother, Sharon, care for her ailing father, Ozzy, until his passing, as shown in a new documentary covering the last three years of his life.
Kelly shared that the most difficult aspect of the situation was seeing her mother suffer. She found it especially painful to watch her mother’s partner, the person she loves most, decline in health.
