Story Highlights
- eFootball 2025 has arrived with the Epic World Classics pack.
- The pack features Pele, Cruyff, and Puskas, with the former getting two Show Time skills.
The Epic: World Classics pack is returning to eFootball 2026, featuring three football legends: Pelé, Johan Cruyff, and Ferenc Puskás, all with retro card designs. Pelé, originally introduced in eFootball 2025, is a highlight of the pack, boasting two special ‘Show Time’ skills: Phenomenal Finishing and Phenomenal Pass.
Okay, so this pack is seriously good. I remember a lot of people dropped coins on it last time around, mainly for that one superstar player. But honestly, Cruyff and Puskas are legends too, and their cards are amazing. I’ve been testing all three out in both offline and online matches, and here’s what I think – a full review after putting them through their paces.
Epic card picks from the eFootball 2026 World Classics
This 150-player pack includes three special Epic cards. Pele receives two new Striker skills, Cruyff gains the Momentum Dribbling ability, and Puskas gets the Phenomenal Pass skill.
Pele
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Deep-Lying Forward
- Show Time Skills: Phenomenal Finishing and Phenomenal Pass
I’ve used Pelé in eFootball for a long time – over 200 matches across both the 2025 and 2026 versions – and my opinion of him hasn’t changed. What really stands out is his ability to trigger ‘Show Time’ twice, making him both an excellent playmaker who can deliver the final pass and a dangerous goal scorer.
Okay, this guy is a beast. Seriously, he can do everything except defend, and that tells you how good he is. His dribbling is just unreal – all his stats like ball control, actual dribbling, and keeping the ball close are comfortably in the 90s. He feels so light and agile on the ball, with perfect balance and amazing acceleration. He’s just incredibly fun to play with.

What really makes him special is how naturally talented he is. I can dribble alright, but the way Pelé controls the ball and moves is incredible – he makes it look easy. Plus, his shots and passes are just amazing to watch.
He’s surprisingly strong and has good endurance for his player type, giving him a solid overall rating. However, if you don’t enjoy players who primarily stay forward, this card isn’t ideal. We can likely expect a more traditional goal-scoring card (‘Poacher’) to be released soon.
If you’re using this player, definitely teach him the Long Range Shooting skill – he was missing a lot of long shots before. After that, focus on One Touch Pass and Outside Curler. For the remaining two skill slots, any shooting ability will work well, such as Dipping, Rising, or Knuckle Shot.
Ferenc Puskas
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Fox in the Box
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Pass
It’s a shame that Ferenc Puskás, one of the first global football stars, didn’t get as much recognition after Pelé became famous. Still, he’s widely considered one of the most naturally gifted goalscorers ever. In the game, Puskás is celebrated for his incredible finishing ability, earning him the highest possible rating in that area.
What really stands out about this card is the “Phenomenal Pass” skill he gets as a CF. This is great because his Finishing is already top-tier, making a Goal Poacher pairing simple. However, don’t be misled – his primary role is scoring, and in my opinion, he’s the best finisher in the game.

He hits the ball with incredible power and accuracy off his left foot. While his stats might not fully show it, he’s very skilled at keeping close control of the ball and dribbling smoothly. He’s also quick and explosive, able to accelerate to the mid-90s and maintain a good top speed.
Similar to Pele, he’s physically capable, and that shouldn’t impact your gameplay significantly. He appears well-rounded, but his dribbling could use improvement, so I recommend equipping him with the Double Touch skill.
He’s also skilled at long-range shooting, but it doesn’t seem to matter much. Based on what I’ve seen, Puskas is exceptional at finishing – I’ve never seen him take a bad shot. When he doesn’t score, it’s always down to incredible goalkeeping. Is he the best ‘Flash in the Box’ in the game? Absolutely.
Johan Cruyff
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Hole Player
- Show Time Skill: Momentum Dribbling
Johan Cruyff has consistently been a top-tier player in eFootball, and this version is no different. He excels at dribbling, maintaining tight control, and moving with the ball, making him both easy to use and incredibly difficult to defend against.
Man, this guy is insane! His first touch is just unbelievably smooth, and he can totally embarrass defenders with his moves. His passing is on point, and with how much he moves around and his overall flair, he’s perfect for running the creative plays on my team. And don’t even get me started on his finishing – super accurate! He’s a complete player.

He has excellent endurance and balance, allowing him to maintain a high energy level throughout the entire match. While he’s not overly aggressive in physical challenges, he’s very skilled at holding onto the ball due to his precise control. He’s versatile enough to play any attacking position, and his stats demonstrate he’d be a valuable addition to any forward line.
This player needs the “First Time Shot” skill. I recommend building him as a Shadow Striker (SS) to maximize his strong finishing ability in that role. He’s also missing the “Double Touch” and “Long Range Shooting” skills, so be sure to add those to his skillset.
Is he the best Shadow Striker? It’s a common debate. The new AC Milan Gullit card, used as a Shadow Striker or Hole Player, seems like the strongest option. However, like with Pelé, I prefer playing him as a Center Forward. I’d also recommend Platini, Zico, and Cruyff, though not necessarily in that order. If you already have Cruyff, you might not need to get this new card.
Best pick from the World Classics pack in eFootball 2026
The World Classics pack is highly sought after by players. It contains three powerful cards that can be used in various endgame strategies. Each card offers a unique approach to building your attack, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them – they all excel in their roles.
I thought this pack was a bit underwhelming because both Puskas and Cruyff only received one skill boost for the striker position. I expect future versions of these cards will address this, but I still believe a Dream League Forward version of Pelé will be the strongest. I would have given the pack a better rating if Cruyff and Puskas had received an additional skill boost for strikers.
Pack Rating: 4 out of 5
