Team Liquid Brazil secures top 3 at the Game Changers Championship 2025

The Game Changers Championship 2025 was an incredible event, highlighting the amazing skill in the inclusive League of Legends scene. Team Liquid won the first match against G2 Gozen, but G2 Gozen quickly turned things around and won the next one, setting the stage for a thrilling final match on the LoL Park stage. Everyone anticipated a very competitive third game.

Daiki described the winning moment as a fortunate opportunity. ‘They gave me the chance,’ she explained, ‘I didn’t have much time to react, but they spread out, making it surprisingly easy to finish the 1v3 and secure the win for Team Liquid Brazil against G2 Gozen on Split.’

Looking back, we didn’t play with the right mindset throughout the game. While we fought back well, our overall approach and attitude weren’t consistent enough. We needed to play more genuinely, and that ultimately hurt us, especially on the Corrode map and in important rounds on Split, according to daiki.

We showed moments of real strength by fighting back and winning tough rounds, proving we still have the ability. We just need to improve our communication and teamwork to maintain that level of play consistently.

Queen daiki is back!

This win further solidifies TL daiki’s position as a leading in-game leader in the Game Changers circuit. Throughout her career, she’s consistently performed well on the international stage, never finishing below third place. Aside from the 2024 GCC event, which she didn’t attend, daiki continues to demonstrate her skill and influence with Team Liquid Brazil and within the broader inclusive gaming community.

TL Julia ‘Jelly’ Iris expressed her excitement about the possibility of a Grand Finals matchup against MIBR GC. She believes an all-Brazilian final would be a huge statement for the Brazilian scene. ‘Our region has consistently performed well, finishing in the top three since the start of the Game Changer Championship, and we’re only getting better,’ she said.

Team Liquid Brazil vs G2 Gozen: A battle of titans

Team Liquid Brazil started strong, easily winning on their chosen map, Haven. G2 Gozen struggled to compete, only managing to win a few rounds – primarily the pistol round and one other in the first half – against a very confident Brazilian team.

Coach Caio Sousa admitted that both his players and he made errors during the game, particularly when analyzing opponents or making choices in the first and middle parts of the competition.

G2 Gozen dominated the second map. Corrode is a particularly strong map for them, and they proved it during the match. Team Liquid Brazil struggled to counter their performance.

The final map

Daiki explained that their performance in Split was challenging because they lost confidence. They started strong after winning the initial round, but couldn’t maintain that momentum. He felt the early wins on both Corrode and Split actually hindered them, as they struggled to regain their composure and confidence after losing it.

The third match was a hard-fought battle between two top teams. G2 initially had a slight lead, but Team Liquid quickly caught up and put the pressure on. Both teams played with incredible intensity, giving the fans a thrilling performance. Ultimately, Team Liquid defeated G2 Gozen, sending them to the lower bracket of the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025.
