Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo were the life of the party at the TikTok Awards in Sydney on Wednesday, playfully hamming it up on the red carpet and showing that age doesn’t define fun.
Karl, 51, dressed casually but stylishly for the evening in a navy suit, a black t-shirt, and white sneakers with black laces.
Sarah, 40, who also appears on the Today show, looked just as stylish in high-waisted pants and a basic t-shirt. She finished her outfit with layered bracelets and a small clutch.
Karl and Sarah clearly had a fun and flirty connection, laughing and joking with each other at the awards show, while surrounded by a lot of younger celebrities.
And they weren’t the only ‘boomers’ in attendance.
As a lifestyle expert, I loved seeing so many vibrant Australian personalities over 40 at the International Convention Centre Sydney recently! It was fantastic – they really showed everyone that having fun and enjoying a night out isn’t just for the younger crowd. They were absolutely glowing and proving age is just a number!

Sophie Monk, 45, turned heads in a sleek black designer dress with a high slit.
The Love Island Australia host added to her look with gold bangles and her million-dollar smile.
Jessica Rowe, 55, and her 16-year-old daughter, Giselle Overton, a model, looked happy and confident as they posed for photos, clearly enjoying themselves.
Jessica turned heads in a bright, rainbow-colored dress, while Giselle chose a timeless look with a simple, black strapless gown.
Jules Robinson, 43, from Married At First Sight, wore a dazzling gold sequin dress to the event, adding a bit of sparkle and fun to the night.
The reality TV star swept her bright red hair back and added a hair extension for a more glamorous look.
Adam Hyde, 35, Carina Mirabile, 31, and Indy Clinton, 28, were among the many social media experts who attended the event.
The event celebrated the best talent in the country with fifteen awards given out across a range of fields, including comedy, fashion, sports, business, and music.

A major award will be given for Video of the Year, celebrating the videos that became the biggest hits online in 2025.
The nominees include Rachel Parkinson, Zane Fall, Alexandra Tuohey, Jude York and Leah Halton.
The Beauty and Fashion category will celebrate the most stylish content creators of the year.
Adam Hyde, Larissa Lambert, Lance Savali, and Max Jackson are all nominated for Music Artist of the Year.
Beyond the main prizes, there are also awards for Comedy Creator of the Year, educational content with Learn on TikTok, outstanding Food Creators, and the TikTok for Good Award, recognizing those who use the platform to make a positive impact.
