Helen Skelton is moving forward after her split from rugby player Richie Myler, and has removed him from any involvement in her business ventures.

I was absolutely devastated when I heard they were splitting up back in 2022, but honestly, even after the divorce was finalized two years later, it was so weird seeing her still legally known as Helen Myler! It just felt… wrong, you know? Like a piece of their story hadn’t quite closed. I kept checking for updates, hoping she’d change it back, it just didn’t sit right with me!

I was checking the official records, like I do constantly, and you will NOT believe this! After everything, she’s changed her name back! Back to Helen Skelton! I nearly fell off my chair, honestly. It’s… it’s just everything a fan could hope for, and yet… so shocking!

She was registered as the director of her production company, Helen Skelton Productions Ltd., under the name Helen Myler.

In April 2022, the host shared on Instagram that she and Richie had split up, explaining that he had moved out of their home.

When they separated, their youngest child, Elsie, was just four months old. They are also parents to two sons, Ernie and Louis.

I was really shocked when I heard they’d separated after being married for nine years. Then, not long after, he started dating Stephanie Thirkhill, who at the time was the daughter of the Leeds Rhinos president. It was a big talking point amongst the fans, of course!

They have two children.

Helen recently posted a warm photo with her Morning Live co-host, Gethin Jones, expressing her gratitude, after months of speculation about a romantic relationship between them.

The presenter shared photos of herself enjoying the Royal Television Society Awards in Manchester with her coworkers.

Gethin, 47, and his companion looked close at the event, with Gethin placing his arm around her. They’ve been seen together on several red carpets recently.

Helen, 42, shared that she’s feeling grateful and misses having a photo with @lauracaveneymorgan. She described the night as filled with warm hugs and expressed her luck at working with some amazing people.

Helen stunned at the event in a vibrant red dress. The gown was a one-shoulder halter style, closely fitted to her figure, and included a dramatic thigh-high slit.

Meanwhile Welsh presenter Gethin looked dapper in a full tax, featuring a bow tie and a glitzy pin.

Gethin and Helen appeared very close, with Gethin putting his arm around her in several photos taken on the red carpet.

Rumors about a romantic relationship between the BBC presenters started earlier this summer, but reports later suggested they had ended things and were no longer together.

However the pair have continued to fuel rumours with their close friendship in recent months.

Helen and Gethin recently appeared together on the red carpet at the Pride Of Britain Awards, and were seen leaving the event shortly after one another.

Helen looked radiant leaving the awards ceremony, smiling brightly. She wore a black, strapless gown with a low neckline.

Meanwhile Gethin looked equally as cheery as he headed home in his dapper navy suit.

Just weeks after reports surfaced that they had slowed down their relationship, Helen and Gethin were photographed enjoying a friendly lunch in November.

Kind Gethin gave Helen his umbrella to keep her dry while they were walking near the Morning Live studios in Manchester, even though he ended up getting wet himself.

In May, the Daily Mail reported that the on-screen connection between the two had developed into something more serious. They were seen behaving like a couple at a charity event last year, displaying affectionate physical contact with each other.

Adding to the mystery surrounding their connection, representatives for both hosts declined to confirm or deny reports that they were seen leaving the BAFTA TV Awards together.

Helen has been single since ending her marriage with Richie in 2022. They share three children together.

The rugby league player and Helen were married for nine years. Helen, who previously appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, shared on Instagram that she was heartbroken he had moved out of their home.

Richie has since moved on with Stephanie.
