eFootball 2026 English League Midfielders (Hazard, Kagawa, Scholes) pack review

The latest update to eFootball 2026 features a new Epic pack focused on creative midfielders! The English League Midfielders pack includes three top players: Eden Hazard, Shinji Kagawa, and Paul Scholes, all now available in eFootball 2026.

These three options all seem appealing, and since they all focus on similar features, it’s hard to use more than two without making your system unstable. When you’re investing your money, you naturally want to choose the best one.

eFootball 2026 Epic English League Midfielders players

Eden Hazard

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Classic No. 10
  • Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Acceleration Burst

Hazard receives a Hazard card – it sounds strange to say, but you understand what I mean. He immediately seems like an attacker who doesn’t force things, yet effortlessly moves past opponents. The most striking aspect is his dribbling ability, with stats exceeding 100.

Since he already has Momentum Dribbling, there’s no need to invest heavily in other skills. Acceleration Burst is a familiar and effective ability for him, making this a solid combination of ST skills overall.

As a player, I’m not looking for someone who only creates opportunities. Simply making good passes is valuable, and I’d like to see more consistent finishing. Therefore, I’d prefer this player to be used as a Supporting Striker (SS). Comparing this card to Ribery, the Bayern Munich version feels slightly weaker statistically than Hazard.

Playing with the number 10 didn’t hold this player back – they made some great runs. Since I prefer to dribble a lot, Eden Hazard seemed like the perfect choice. To make this card even better, adding skills like through passing, fighting spirit, and a dipping shot would be really helpful.

Paul Scholes

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Box-to-Box
  • Showtime Skill: Low Screamer

We’ve already seen Paul Scholes labeled as a ‘Playmaker’ and a ‘Deep-lying Playmaker,’ and now we’re calling him a ‘Box-to-Box’ midfielder. Some fans might disagree with that last one, as he wasn’t traditionally known for running all over the pitch, but let’s explore that idea anyway. What immediately stands out when watching Scholes is how effortlessly the game flows when he’s involved with the ball.

He remains a top choice for a classy, creative midfielder, ranking among players like Xavi and Pedri as one of my favorites. He has an incredible ability to distribute the ball over long distances, and even with simpler passing plays, he’s remarkably reliable.

He was surprisingly good on defense. He anticipates well, effectively intercepts passes, and wins a higher percentage of challenges than you’d expect given his size. While he doesn’t cover a lot of ground, he’s very smart about where he positions himself. He can also shoot accurately from distance; a few attempts missed, but he clearly has a powerful kick.

Shinji Kagawa

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Hole Player
  • Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Phenomenal Pass

As someone who’s used Kagawa cards before, I can tell you they’re always fantastic. This version feels like an even better upgrade! His touch is so delicate, he barely ever feels awkward on the ball, which makes connecting passes with my attackers incredibly fluid and natural. It’s just a really smooth experience all around.

He’s a skilled dribbler with excellent passing ability, which helps quickly transition the ball from midfield to the forwards. Importantly, he’s equally proficient with both feet, ensuring consistent passing and shooting accuracy.

He doesn’t offer much in terms of physical play, which could make it difficult for players who rely on holding onto the ball when under pressure. However, he compensates with strong technical skills.

Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Epic English League Midfielders players

Generally, the Epic English League Midfielders in eFootball 2026 are well-rounded players who can fill a variety of roles and offer diverse playing styles.

If you’re planning to try your luck with this, the best cards to aim for are Hazard and Scholes. I recommend stopping if you get either of them relatively quickly, unless you really want to keep going. It’s probably better to save your coins for the larger packs that will be released soon.
