Kate Brazier admits she’s up in the middle of the night ‘scrolling’ – hours after husband Jeff broke his silence on their split

Kate Brazier has been having sleepless nights in the wake of her split from husband Jeff.

Jeff, 46, announced on Instagram Tuesday that he and his wife separated over the summer, explaining they realized they were unable to fulfill each other’s needs after seven years of marriage.

Shortly after Jeff made his announcement, Kate, age 35, shared on Instagram that she’s been having trouble sleeping while on vacation in Las Vegas.

Kate shared a thoughtful photo and jokingly admitted her jet lag hadn’t fully worn off. She revealed she was awake at 3 a.m. craving pickles and browsing her phone, and expressed her excitement about returning to a sunny location for some rest and relaxation.

Following her surprising breakup with TV presenter Jeff, PR consultant Kate took a trip to Las Vegas to relax and unwind.

On Monday evening, she posted a video on Instagram showing a woman receiving a lap dance at ABSINTHE, a famously provocative show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The show is known for mixing adult circus acts, burlesque, and vaudeville.

She captioned a photo, ‘Absinthe is always the best show in Vegas,’ and then shared a post about six planets being in retrograde. Some people believe this astrological event can disrupt life’s progress, often causing setbacks.

Kate, who celebrated her wedding anniversary in Las Vegas with Jeff last year, responded to a comment about the planets with a simple and mysterious ‘That’s why’.

Jeff finally spoke out about the breakup on Tuesday night with a long post on Instagram. He mentioned the challenging year he and Kate had, largely due to issues with his 21-year-old son, Freddy.

He expressed deep love and gratitude for Kate, reflecting on everything they accomplished together, how much they’ve both grown, and the challenges they overcame.

It was last summer when things shifted for us, and we decided to go our separate ways. We really wanted to handle it privately for a while, just to give ourselves the space we needed to figure things out.

For twelve years, we’ve been a source of comfort and support for each other, especially during challenging and complicated times in our lives.

‘I’m so proud of how hard we worked, how we kept showing up, we gave everything and more.

I deeply admire Kate’s accomplishments and am incredibly grateful for her unwavering support and care.

You know, I’ve been hearing from Jeff that Kate, who’s 35, still makes an effort to check in and see how his boys are doing. It’s especially sweet with Freddy getting ready to become a dad himself! It’s lovely when exes can maintain a positive connection for the sake of the family, isn’t it?

It really shows how much she cares that she still reaches out to see how the boys are doing, because she’s truly involved in their lives.

Everyone who knows her adores her, and I’m no exception. I’ll especially miss her wonderful family, who were always incredibly supportive.

It’s hard to fully explain everything, and I don’t need to. We’ll continue to support each other, and I’m confident I’ll be cheering her on as she succeeds, just like always.

We both want to be happy, and we’re sad that we weren’t able to make each other happy in the long run. It just felt like the right time to move on.

It comes after it was reported that PR guru Kate moved out of their marital home three weeks ago.

People started guessing what was happening when Jeff posted pictures of his new house in the country, mentioning he was going through a period of change and finding peace.

The couple previously split in late 2022 before reconciling seven months later. 

Kate has shared that she once felt like her marriage to Jeff was failing, but she later realized that all couples go through difficult times, especially after they worked through their issues and got back together.

She shared her views on marriage when a fan asked for help fixing their relationship.

She admitted that most people only share the positive aspects of their lives on social media. She believes anyone who claims marriage and parenthood are simple is being dishonest. She personally felt like a failure until she understood that everyone faces challenges.

I value my privacy when it comes to our relationship, but I’m so thankful my husband and I are equally committed to growing both as individuals and as a couple. That’s really all you can hope for in a partnership.

Oh, things have been so rough for them lately, especially poor Jeff and his son, Freddy. The last year has been a total rollercoaster for that family, you wouldn’t believe the stuff they’ve been dealing with! I’m seriously worried about them, especially Freddy – he’s been through so much.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always heartened to hear about families finding their way back to each other. I was so pleased to learn that Jade Goody’s son recently reconciled with his father after a difficult and public disagreement. It’s a beautiful reminder that forgiveness and connection are always possible, even after tough times.

Jeff thought about going to court to prevent his son from seeing his maternal grandmother, Jackiey Budden, because he wanted to protect him.

Freddy, who is soon to be a father with his girlfriend Holly Swinburn, has stated that Jackiey introduced him to drugs. He then hinted that he previously attempted suicide by deliberately crashing his car during a period of extreme emotional distress.

In June, Freddy seemed to indirectly criticize Kate by sharing a list of things he dislikes, which included ‘step parents’.

In August, Freddy announced he was going to be a father and promised to improve his life and reconcile with his dad.

The influencer’s mother, Jade, passed away from cervical cancer when he was only four years old. Sadly, this happened on Mother’s Day in 2009.

After Jade passed away, her mother, Jackiey, stepped in to help raise Bobby and Freddy. However, she and Jeff haven’t always gotten along over the years.

Recently, Freddy admitted to not eating and instead using cannabis, which he referred to as ‘green’.

He shared a photo of his grandmother, Jackiey, and revealed he’d been focusing on building a relationship with her, unaware she had been deceiving him for years.

Freddy shared a video showing himself walking down the street in a bathrobe. This was followed by a clip of an ambulance, and he explained in the caption that he experienced a series of difficult episodes which ultimately led to him being admitted to a psychiatric ward, where he spent his 18th birthday.
