Diddy’s nemesis 50 Cent drops surprise Netflix documentary trailer while Sean Combs serves 50 months in prison for prostitution offenses

50 Cent seems to be enjoying the situation as his rival, Diddy, serves a 50-month prison sentence related to prostitution charges.

The rapper, age 50, recently released a trailer for his upcoming Netflix documentary, “Sean Combs: The Reckoning.” This comes after he’s consistently spoken out against someone he considers an opponent.

Fans won’t have to wait much longer for the new series! It will be released on the streaming platform on Tuesday, December 2nd.

This four-part documentary series tells the story of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the 56-year-old founder of Bad Boy Records, charting his journey from success to downfall.

A voice in the short video says, “You can’t keep hurting people without facing consequences. Eventually, something will happen.”

The project’s announcement described the docuseries as a detailed and compelling look at the life of a powerful figure – a media executive, musical icon, and someone with a criminal record.

The documentary will include previously unreleased footage and interviews with people close to Diddy, and those involved say the revelations will be shocking.

This happened only a month after 50 Cent, whose full name is Curtis James Jackson III, mocked Diddy following the rapper’s four-year sentence related to prostitution charges.

Sean Combs, known as Diddy, received a sentence of 50 months in prison and a $500,000 fine from Judge Arun Subramanian on October 3rd.

After being released from prison, Combs was placed on supervised release for an additional five years, as ordered by the judge.

Subramanian argued for a significant sentence to discourage similar crimes, expressing doubt that Combs wouldn’t re-offend if released.

I still can’t believe it, but Diddy was found guilty on two counts related to prostitution after that incredibly long trial in July. It was such a relief to hear he wasn’t convicted on those really serious charges – the sex trafficking and racketeering stuff – but honestly, even these convictions… it’s just a lot to process. I’ve been following this case so closely, and it’s been a total rollercoaster.

Following reports that the disgraced rapper had scheduled a speaking event in Miami, hoping it would lead to his release, 50 Cent shared his thoughts on the sentencing.

He shared a courtroom sketch of Diddy looking upset and joked, ‘To whoever was planning to book Diddy for a speaking event – I heard he’s unavailable, so I’m offering my services!’

The judge strongly criticized Diddy for the severe abuse he inflicted on his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, stating he wanted to send a clear message that such harmful actions will not be tolerated. The judge emphasized the lasting and devastating impact Diddy’s actions had on his victims.

The judge made this decision after a problematic sentencing hearing where they unexpectedly announced they would factor in evidence from charges the defendant had already been cleared of when determining the sentence.

50 Cent and Diddy have been feuding for years, and 50 Cent recently wrote a letter connected to Diddy’s ongoing legal case.

On October 2nd, the day before his sentencing, he posted a message on X asking Judge Subramanian to prioritize public safety before allowing Combs to be released.

In his letter, he stated he had lived in fear for his life and asked the judge to give Combs a longer prison sentence.

He believes the music executive hasn’t served enough time in prison to truly change, despite starting a business class while incarcerated.

After Diddy was found not guilty on some charges in July, 50 Cent posted a picture of himself smiling and wrote, ‘Diddy beat the federal charges – that guy is tough and beat the RICO case!’

He had previously shared a series of provocative, AI-created images that ridiculed the Bad Boy Records founder and the serious claims made during his legal case.

He recently made new statements following his promise to contact President Trump directly, hoping to prevent a potential pardon for Diddy.

Earlier this year, Trump stated he would review the details of the situation, and noted that he and Diddy had been friends in the past.

The president stated that whether or not someone was treated unfairly is what matters to him, regardless of his personal feelings towards them.

But 50 Cent made it clear he intended to remind Trump of the history between them.

According to 50 Cent, Donald Trump doesn’t appreciate being disrespected and remembers those who oppose him. 50 Cent added that while Trump is focused on improving the country, he won’t tolerate distractions.

Prosecutors asked the judge to sentence Combs to 11 years in prison for prostitution charges stemming from his sexually explicit parties.

Diddy appeared shocked and didn’t react as the judge announced his sentence, remaining fixated forward while being condemned for physically, emotionally, and psychologically harming his victims.

The judge stated, ‘You took advantage of the trust and influence you held over the women you claimed to love. This continued for so long because you had the means and ability to maintain that control.’

The judge’s decision followed a difficult sentencing hearing for Diddy, which became increasingly problematic for him. At the beginning of the hearing, the judge announced they would still review evidence related to previously dismissed sex trafficking and racketeering charges from July.

During the trial, a courtroom artist captured the celebrity looking strikingly similar to the famous painting ‘The Scream,’ seemingly realizing he could be going to prison for a long time.

Prosecutors argued that Diddy scheduled speaking engagements for Monday in Miami, implying he didn’t think he’d be remaining in jail. They suggested this demonstrated a sense of arrogance and a belief he wouldn’t face further imprisonment.

During a plea for a lighter sentence, Diddy’s lawyer, Nicole Westmoreland, became emotional while arguing that his 2004 award from the American Fashion Council as Menswear Designer of the Year demonstrated he deserved leniency.

She explained it wasn’t simply about winning the award, but about overcoming obstacles, and reporters noted she seemed to become emotional as she spoke.

The sentence announced on Friday represents a dramatic downfall for the 55-year-old, who was once a leading figure in the entertainment world.

He was facing up to 20 years behind bars.

On the evening of September 16, 2024, Homeland Security officials arrested him at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan, ending his freedom.

He has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest, initially facing charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.

After three days of discussion, the jury rejected the most severe accusations. He was ultimately found guilty only of transporting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and another woman with the intent of facilitating prostitution.

The highly publicized trial captivated global attention, with both sides presenting shocking evidence. This included heartbreaking accounts from victims, a massive quantity of baby oil, and notorious 2016 hotel security video of the defendant assaulting Kevin Ventura.

Ventura, who was eight months pregnant with her third child with her husband, Alex Fine, testified that the music executive abused her both physically and emotionally for over a decade, starting in 2007 and lasting until 2018.

She described repeated physical abuse, and said he used threats and control to manipulate her. She also alleged he forced her to perform humiliating sexual acts, resulting in ongoing health problems.

Ventura concluded her testimony on May 16, just 11 days before she went into labor.
