Jessica Simpson flashes ‘thigh harnesses’ under her leather dress as she prepares to date again

My absolute favorite, Jessica Simpson, just dropped some stunning photos on Instagram! They were taken by her talented friend, Alex Berger, and honestly, they’re gorgeous. She shared them earlier this month, and I’ve been admiring them ever since.

The Texas native was flashing black bands around her thighs which are called ‘thigh harnesses.’

Thigh straps are adjustable bands worn on the thighs, typically made from materials like leather or elastic. They’re often used as a fashion accessory with lingerie, costumes, or for special events.

Simpson paired her leather dress with black lace stockings and striking electric blue platform boots that measured eight inches high. The straps of an undergarment were visible beneath the dress.

The woman, who has three children, was at a recording studio wearing a fur coat over a hoodie. Her long, blonde hair was loose around her shoulders.

Eric Johnson’s soon-to-be ex-wife shared on Instagram that she records her best singing when wearing eight-inch high heels.

After announcing in July she was open to dating again following her split from husband Eric Johnson earlier in the year, this news follows that announcement.

During an interview on the Today show, Jenna Bush-Hager playfully asked the singer if he was looking to date and offered to help him find someone.

Jessica replied: ‘I’d totally jump on that. Yes I’m single – very into like, very … I’m ready!’ 

Jenna subsequently questioned: ‘What are you into so I can set my criteria?’ 

The famous singer shared what she looks for in a partner: someone genuine and unique. She isn’t interested in a specific physical type, but rather someone who is comfortable and confident in themselves, without being arrogant.

I’m looking for a relationship where we both have our own space and don’t rely on each other for constant support. Finding that kind of independence in a partner would be amazing.

She also said she never imagined being ‘single again as a mom of three.’

The actress revealed she and Eric Johnson split in January after a decade of marriage, and she says she always expected to still be married at this point in her life.

The singer, who shares three children – 13-year-old Maxi, 12-year-old Ace, and 6-year-old Birdie – with Eric, recently told People magazine that she often thinks about how much life can change. She admitted that if she’d been told at age 45 she’d be a single mom of three, she wouldn’t have believed it, as it wasn’t part of her plan. However, she accepts it as simply what life had in store for her.

Jessica says her new fragrance, Mystic Canyon, represents the personal journey of self-discovery she’s experienced.

She realized this period of her life was about finding herself on her own, without needing advice or facing judgment from others.

This project was ultimately about self-discovery and embracing who I am. It came from a place of honesty and vulnerability, and I was able to express those feelings through music and incorporate them into the overall brand. It’s been a really freeing and empowering experience.
