Selena Gomez’s mother-in-law Sandra Levin was caught in a frightening situation on Monday night.
According to NBC4, Benny Blanco – a well-known music producer and Gomez’s husband – had a frightening experience when someone broke into his mother’s Los Angeles home.
She hid in a second-floor bathroom to avoid being discovered by the masked robbers.
As the men entered the upstairs bedroom, she peeked out of the bathroom to see what they were doing.
Witnesses said the men, who were wearing dark clothing, seemed surprised someone was home and quickly left the property.
Police were dispatched to the home after the security alarm was triggered. They spoke with a resident named Levin, and thankfully, no one was hurt.
It is not known if anything was taken from the home.
The men had broken into the home through a sliding glass door, according to NBC4.
