Sally Dynevor recently had a full body scan, costing £1,495, to reassure herself about her health.
The 62-year-old actress from Coronation Street was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 after discovering a lump at age 46.
Interestingly, her soap opera character, Sally Metcalfe, was going through a similar storyline at the same time, as her character also had the disease.
The actress took six months off for treatment. After the cancer spread, she underwent surgery to remove affected lymph nodes, had a lumpectomy, and then received chemotherapy.
Sally shared a health update on Instagram, posting photos before her scan and explaining why she was getting it.
She shared that going through breast cancer taught her just how important it is to find it early. It also made her realize that good health shouldn’t be taken for granted.

That’s why I opted for the @ezrainc full-body MRI and CT scan – it’s a strong, radiation-free method for finding possible health problems early on.
Honestly, I’m completely sold on the Ezra scan. It’s not just about finding things after you feel sick, it’s about knowing what’s going on before anything even starts! It’s like… a total game changer for taking control of your health, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing I’m being proactive. It could literally save your life, and that’s why I’m such a huge fan!
Ezra, a leading health technology company, has expanded its services to the UK, bringing its screening technology outside of the US for the first time.
Sally recently had a comprehensive health check-up, following in the footsteps of other celebrities like Holly Willoughby, Kim Kardashian, and Cindy Crawford.
Cancer Research UK has found that cancer diagnoses have risen by 24% in people aged 40 to 50 since 1995.
Even with improvements in cancer care, almost half of all diagnoses in the UK happen when the disease is already advanced. This makes treatment more difficult and reduces the chances of a positive outcome.
Ezra’s goal is to change the current situation by offering more people access to AI-powered early screenings, helping them stay on top of potential health issues.
This applies to people with a family history of cancer, as well as those with other things that increase their risk. Finding cancer early means treatment can begin sooner, which greatly improves the chances of a positive outcome.

Ezra’s CEO and founder, Emi Gal, explained that seeing the effects of cancer diagnosed at a late stage in her own family has shown her how vital early detection is.
‘Our mission is to make comprehensive cancer screening fast, accurate and affordable.’
Ezra uses artificial intelligence to perform scans that take about an hour and check 13 different organs. You can also add an optional lung scan and heart health check.
AI has dramatically sped up scans, now taking only an hour, and also helps doctors focus on the most important results with a new scoring system.
A comprehensive full body scan, checking 13 organs, costs £1,495. You can add a spine scan for £2,395, or include both a skeletal and neurological assessment for £5,495.
As the technology improves, scan times could drop to just fifteen minutes, and a complete health checkup might eventually cost less than £400.
Mr. Gal explained to TopMob that their main goal is to help people identify potential health issues before they even start feeling sick.
Ideally, cancer should be detected before symptoms appear, when it’s in its earliest stages. This is because cancer is much easier to cure when found early.
Ezra doctors review all scans using AI assistance, and any potential problems are discussed with patients, who can then share the information with their primary care doctor.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always thrilled to share positive health stories. We’ve recently discovered that about 6% of our community members have detected potential signs of cancer through our program. Even more encouraging, we’ve heard from several members who were diagnosed, received treatment, and are now thankfully cancer-free. It’s a powerful reminder of the importance of proactive health monitoring!
‘I think there’s a future in which we have a 15-minute, $500 (£379) scan available to everyone.’

Prenuvo is a health company that’s part of a growing trend: offering full-body MRIs for $2,500. They claim these scans can find cancers and other long-term illnesses years before a person feels sick.
It featured in a sponsored post on Kim’s Instagram page, where she described it as ‘lifesaving’.
Dr. Daniel Durand, the chief medical officer at Prenuvo and a radiologist, explained to the Associated Press that they aim to help people take a more active role in managing their health.
She shared on Instagram that the Prenuvo full-body scan can find cancers and conditions like aneurysms very early on, even before anyone feels sick. She mentioned it helped save the life of a friend and wanted to spread the word.
Experts warn that this technology isn’t beneficial for generally healthy people who aren’t experiencing any symptoms.
