Shirlie Kemp shared her plans for celebrating with her husband, Martin, when he gets home from ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’.
Spandau Ballet’s 64-year-old singer is now in his second week on the Australian reality show and has been openly discussing his marriage, even revealing details about their intimate life.
Shirlie, age 63, recently shared that she’s excited about getting back together with Martin and revealed one thing he asked for before leaving.
She told The Sun that Martin asked her to organize a large Christmas party to celebrate his return from the jungle.
I’m excited to have everyone over – family, friends, and neighbors – so I’ve been busy planning a get-together. I’m making sure there’s plenty of food, because my husband, Martin, will be really hungry when he gets home.
I’m planning a big celebration at home to welcome him back, with lots of decorations, music, great food, drinks, and all of our closest friends and family.

Shirlie feels her family is having a moment in the spotlight, with both her children, Roman and Harley, currently appearing on Celebrity Race Across The World.
It comes after Roman was not amused by his father after watching Sunday’s show.
Martin shared a very personal and explicit story with the group around the campfire, describing the position he and Shirlie used when they conceived.
The musician shared with his fellow celebrities on camp that he and his wife had been trying for a baby before their wedding, but weren’t able to conceive due to Shirlie’s endometriosis.
He remembered a surprisingly explicit question Shirlie’s mother once asked them while they were visiting. She’d casually asked, ‘So, have you tried the wheelbarrow?’
Martin stood up and showed everyone how to do it, which made the camp burst into laughter when Ruby Wax gave it a try. However, Roman, watching from home, didn’t find it funny at all.
The presenter expressed his shock on X (formerly Twitter) by posting a meme featuring Homer Simpson pretending to pour bleach into his eyes. The meme was captioned with ‘#ImACeleb’ and referenced his father discussing something inappropriate with his mother – something the presenter called ‘wheelbarrowing’. He then followed up, asking ‘Seriously, what was that?’
During Sunday night’s show, Martin accidentally revealed some details about his private 1988 wedding to Shirley, one half of the musical duo Pepsi & Shirlie.

Around the campfire, the conversation shifted to marriage, and Vogue Williams mentioned she and Spencer Matthews have been married for eight years.
This prompted Martin to say he had been married for coming up to four decades.
He told his fellow campers that he and his partner got married on a cliff in St. Lucia, with a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea, and only three guests present.
He joked the ceremony was so basic ‘if you looked into it more you’d find we’re not married!’
In a recent interview, Martin shared the key to his lasting marriage, saying that a strong friendship is at its core. He described his wife, Shirlie, as his everything, and explained that she’s the motivation behind everything he does.
