The first episode of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ drew 10.8 million viewers, according to the latest ratings data.
Last Sunday, 7.3 million people watched the new season of the celebrity jungle challenge, which was one million fewer viewers than tuned in for the show’s premiere earlier this year.
The first episode also attracted a massive 3.5 million viewers who watched it on demand, making it ITV’s largest audience since the Euros in July 2024.
The series has been streamed 35 million times on ITVX, a 26% increase from last year. This helped ITVX reach 100 million total streams in just one week.
As more people streamed the show, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! became especially popular with younger viewers. It attracted 2.5 million viewers aged 16-34, which is ITV’s largest young adult audience since the 2022 World Cup.
The broadcaster will be pleased with these ratings, as they’ve been working hard to appeal to a younger audience for ‘I’m A Celebrity’ recently.

After seeing initial viewing numbers fall compared to last year, ITV told the Daily Mail they expected more people to watch via streaming.
According to reports, the overall numbers tell the story: fans of Aitch and AngryGinge aren’t tuning in live. It seems Gen Z prefers to watch content on demand.
ITV has been actively trying to get viewers aged 16 to 24 to watch their shows, as this age group is very appealing to advertisers and brings in significant revenue for the channel.
In recent seasons, “I’m A Celebrity” has clearly tried to attract younger viewers, particularly those from Generation Z. They’ve done this mainly by casting popular social media personalities like TikTok creator GK Barry and YouTuber Nella Rose.
This year, they’ve partnered with popular Twitch streamer AngryGinge. He’s already well-known among Gen Z, with over five million followers on social media.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been watching the buzz around this year’s jungle show, and honestly, Morgan Burtwistle – that’s his real name, by the way – was the clear frontrunner from the start! Bookmakers had him as the most likely winner even before the series kicked off, which is pretty incredible. It just shows how popular he is!
Viewers and social media fans have also enjoyed his friendship with 25-year-old rapper Aitch.
Voting on the app soared to 1.5 million on Monday night, deciding that Aitch would face the Bushtucker trial.

AngryGinge’s time on Jungle is proving successful. His witty remarks and funny conversations with Aitch, along with his surprising but genuine connection with Ruby Wax, are making him even more popular.
Since joining the camp, he’s gained a large online following, with over 1.4 million followers on Twitch and 900,000 subscribers on YouTube.
Reports indicate his team is already fielding offers for television shows, sponsorships, and a significant book deal.
As soon as AngryGinge appeared on television, there was a sudden increase in interest, and many broadcasters and major retailers immediately wanted to work with him when he got back.
According to a source speaking with The Mirror, interest from businesses has significantly increased ever since Ginge started appearing on the show.
He’s received an overwhelming number of offers, exceeding all expectations. Brands have realized he’s more than just a fleeting internet sensation; he’s authentic, speaks in a way that resonates with everyday people, and connects with an audience that many large companies find difficult to engage.

People appreciate the star’s genuine personality, and several major retailers have noticed. They’re hoping he can help change how the public views their brands and connect with customers they haven’t been able to reach before, so they’ve asked him to be the face of their advertising campaigns.
ITV, the BBC, and Channel 4 are reportedly starting to consider offering him TV roles, believing his humorous, genuine, and honest personality would make him a popular face on television.
According to a source, many networks are eager to meet with him as soon as he returns, hoping to involve him in various projects – from entertainment and documentary-style shows to advertising campaigns.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight on ITV1 and ITVX
