With Thanksgiving here at the end of November, many people are spending time with loved ones. That often includes enjoying movies and shows together on streaming services! This month, those services are offering lots of new content, including festive holiday movies and other big releases – perfect for cozying up on the couch.

Bel-Air, Season 4 – November 24 (Peacock)
Streaming services have become known for trying out new and different ideas. One example is Bel-Air, which was among the first original shows created for Peacock. It took a fresh approach by reimagining the classic sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as a more dramatic series. The show’s fourth and final season is being released this week.

Stranger Things, Season 5, Volume 1 – November 26 (Netflix)
It’s no exaggeration to say that Stranger Things is a huge success story for streaming television. For nearly a decade, it’s been one of the most popular and discussed new shows, and a major reason people subscribe to Netflix. The first episodes of the show’s final season are coming soon, and while they aren’t as lengthy as some reports suggested, they’re sure to satisfy fans.

The Beatles Anthology November 26 – 28 (Disney+)
For the past few years, Disney+ has become a Thanksgiving tradition for Beatles fans. Two years ago, they released Peter Jackson’s documentary series, The Beatles: Get Back. Last year brought a restored version of the original Let It Be film. And this year, Disney+ is offering the most comprehensive Beatles project yet: a remastered The Beatles Anthology. This includes the complete history of the band, plus a brand-new episode detailing how The Beatles Anthology itself was made.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade – November 27 (Peacock)
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a beloved holiday tradition. This year’s 99th parade will travel through Times Square in New York City on Thanksgiving Day, and you can watch the entire event on NBC or with a subscription to Peacock.

A PAW Patrol Christmas Special – November 28 (Paramount+)
Christmas animated specials are consistently a hit, and each year brings new contenders hoping to become yearly traditions. This year, the popular show PAW Patrol is releasing a Christmas special that you can watch on CBS or stream with a Paramount+ subscription.

Prep & Landing: the Snowball Protocol – November 28 (Disney+)
The popular Disney holiday series, Prep & Landing, first premiered in 2009 and has become a beloved tradition for many families. It’s been nearly 15 years since the last special, but a new one, Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol, is coming this year! It will air on various Disney channels throughout the holiday season and will also be available to stream on Disney+ starting November 28th.
December starts next week, bringing the usual changes to streaming services – new content is added, and many shows and movies will have a holiday theme.
