Thirty-year-old athlete Jack Whitehall caused a stir recently when he reportedly disinvited family members from his wedding to Holly Ramsay, 26, after his fiancée, Caroline, wasn’t included in her pre-wedding celebrations.
The couple is planning a beautiful Christmas wedding at the historic Bath Abbey. They’ll exchange vows there and then enjoy a festive celebration with drinks, though unfortunately, not many of Adam’s family members will be able to make it.
Caroline shared a heartfelt message on Instagram Sunday about family and the holidays, reflecting on the sacrifices parents make for their children, likely in response to personal sadness.
The message explained that it wasn’t the gifts themselves that mattered, but having her parents there, doing everything to create a special and magical experience.
The family drama began when Adam’s mother wasn’t invited to Holly’s pre-wedding celebration. Holly attended with her own mother, Tana, Adam’s sister Bethany, and Victoria Beckham at Soho Farmhouse, which caused significant upset.
After the disagreement, several conflicts came to light, with both sides sharing surprising details about what happened. This included claims that Holly and Adam pressured Caroline to wear a different outfit to the wedding because they disliked her original selection.
She shared a touching message on Sunday about spending Christmas with family, and reflected on the sacrifices parents make for their kids.
The note simply said: ‘I don’t recall all the presents I received as a young child. What I do remember is the comforting scent of the kitchen and the warm feeling of the lights.’

She later said she hadn’t invited her sister, Caroline, to the wedding because of how she looked, stating she didn’t fit the desired aesthetic.
However, Adam’s sister, Bethany, seems to have avoided the family conflict – she was invited to Holly’s hen party in the Cotswolds.
According to The Sun, Bethany was chosen not for her skills, but because she matches the glamorous image of the Ramsay family – specifically, because she is blonde and attractive.
And it is claimed Bethany herself has had her head turned by the celebrity lifestyle.
Bethany was also reportedly asked to be one of Holly’s bridesmaids at the wedding.
