Elizabeth Castravet from 90 Day Fiancé shared the sad news that her father, Chuck Potthast, has passed away after fighting cancer.
Potthast had been fighting glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. He was 64.
Castravet, a member of the TLC family since season five, shared that she and her family are heartbroken after the loss of her father.
She shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, along with a photo of them and their family and friends, to honor him.
In a recent post, the 34-year-old reality star shared heartbreaking news: her father passed away two weeks ago. She described the loss as devastating for the entire family, remembering him as a kind and loving man.
‘We’re trying to figure out how to navigate our lives and move forward without him.
‘Please respect our privacy during this extremely difficult time.’
Potthast first revealed his cancer battle on 90 Day Diaries in 2022.

In September, Potthast shared that he had more than eight hours of surgery to repair a hernia, which developed as a complication from previous cancer surgeries.
He explained in a video from his hospital bed that his surgery was planned to last three or four hours to repair hernias that had formed as a result of his previous cancer surgeries.
When the doctors operated, they discovered my stomach wall had completely given way and needed to be repaired, which thankfully they were able to do.
He added: ‘I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and support.
‘It really helped me get through it.’
Potthast first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé in 2017 when his daughter, Elizabeth, and her husband, Andrei Castravet, became cast members.
Fans of 90 Day Fiancé have been sending their condolences on Tammy Potthast’s final Instagram post, which she shared on October 3rd.
In the post, he had shared several images from a boating trip with his family in Florida.

One fan shared on social media: ‘Goodbye, Chuck. You were the kindest person to ever appear on 90 Day Fiancé.’
I’m absolutely heartbroken. Sending my deepest condolences and prayers to his family during this incredibly difficult time. I hope they find strength and comfort.
Someone else wrote, ‘Rest in peace, Chuck. You were a wonderfully supportive and loving father on 90 Day Fiancé.’
Someone else added, ‘We all loved Chuck.’ They hoped that everyone who met him personally understood the huge effect he had, even on those who only caught glimpses of his personality through his work. Rest in peace.
Someone else shared, ‘My heart is shattered, Chuck. You left us far too early. You were a wonderful, loving father, and we’ll miss you terribly.’
