If you can’t kill the Beast, let your guide help you.
A new event, “Abyss of the Four,” has begun in Cookie Run Kingdom! The Dark Enchantress Cookie is up to no good again, this time involving the Beast Cookies. Meanwhile, the five original Soul Jam owners have been invited to the Grad Dust Hotel, where the story will reveal how the Dark Enchantress plans to use the Beast Cookies in a larger scheme.
The Abyss of the Four event is pretty simple: you fight four Beast Cookies. You choose a difficulty level and try to progress as far as you can. The harder the difficulty, the better the rewards!
Here’s a guide to help you choose the best Cookie Run: Kingdom teams for the Abyss of the Four event.
How the Abyss of the Four works in Cookie Run Kingdom

In Cookie Run Kingdom’s Abyss of the Four, you’ll face four Beast Cookies. Each one lets you customize the difficulty level. Increasing the difficulty (measured in points) makes the battles harder, but also unlocks better rewards.
You won’t have access to all the challenges right away. First, you need to beat the boss on an easier setting. Then, you can make the challenges harder by adding points. These points can boost the boss’s strength, give it new abilities, or make the fight more difficult for your team. Once you’ve maxed out the challenge points, your team can have up to four cookies and three Powers.
Team building works the same way as before, but instead of using treasures, you’ll now equip Powers. You earn these Powers and can upgrade them by completing stages. Powers can boost damage, improve your team’s stats, or even summon extra Cookies without taking up a team slot.
How to get Powers

You get powerful upgrades after defeating each boss. Keep in mind that some of the best upgrades are only available on higher difficulty levels. For instance, the most useful upgrades for all bosses in the Cookie Run Kingdom Abyss of the Four – specifically Triumph of Swiftness, Life’s Dominance, and Supremacy of Power – require you to play on 1+ Challenge Points difficulty.
Best teams for Abyss of the Four in Cookie Run Kingdom
To beat each boss with the highest possible Challenge Points, having a good team is key. Luckily, you don’t need to spend a lot of time leveling up your cookies – just make sure they have the correct Powers equipped. The team listed below is designed for 40 Challenge Points, since you can only use four cookies at that difficulty.
Generally, you won’t need to make significant changes to your team’s setup. Marshmallow Bunny Cookie will have the same effective build for every boss fight. This cookie is very durable – it can’t be damaged or suffer negative effects unless all your other cookies are defeated. Plus, its buffs and healing abilities are incredibly strong for this game content.
You can customize Eternal Sugar Cookie’s build to fit the boss you’re fighting, switching between a durable, high-health build and one focused on dealing damage. Wind Archer Cookie will be a valuable asset to every team because his effectiveness relies on how quickly he attacks, making him ideal for benefiting from the Triumph of Swiftness power-up.
Here’s a guide to the best teams to use for this event, tailored to the Beast Cookie you’re up against.
Shadow Milk Cookie Boss

Shadow Milk Cookie is considered the most challenging boss in the CRK Abyss of the Four, so having a strong team is crucial. You’ll need a durable cookie who can withstand damage and draw Shadow Milk Cookie’s Shackle attack.
Best team setup
| Cookie | Toppings | Tart | Beascuits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marshmallow Bunny | – 3x Sweet Candy and 2x Swift Chocolate – Amplify Buff, Coooldown Substat | Swift Chocolate Tart | Cooldown, Amplify Buff |
| Awakened Pure Vanilla | – Full Swift Chocolate – DMG Resist Substat | Swift Chocolate Tart | DMG Resist, Cooldown |
| Wind Archer | – Full Bouncy Caramel – ATK SPD, ATK Substat | Bouncy Caramel Tart | ATK SPD, ATK, DMG Resist Bypass |
| Eternal Sugar | – Full Healthy Peanut – HP, Cooldown Substats | Healthy Peanut Tart | DMG Resist Bypass, Cooldown |
This team needs Awakened Pure Vanilla to remove the Injury debuff. Eternal Sugar Cookie should have the most HP on the team; she’ll draw Shadow Milk’s Shackle debuff to herself.
Best Powers to use
Here’s a simple guide to the most effective Cookies and abilities to use when battling Shadow Milk Cookie in the Cookie Run Kingdom’s Abyss of the Four event.
- Life’s Dominance: The Cookie with the Highest HP grows 200% larger and gains Max HP +300%, ATK +50%, Cooldown -40%, and takes 30% less damage.
- Triumph of Swiftness: The Cookie with the highest ATK SPD gains ATK +50%, ATK SPD +100%, Cooldown -40%, and takes 20% less damage.
- Supremacy of Power: The Cookie with the highest ATK gains ATK +80%, ATK SPD +20%, Cooldown -40%, and takes 20% less damage.
Eternal Sugar Cookie Boss

To beat the Eternal Sugar Cookie, you’ll want to deal as much damage as quickly as possible to break through her shields. Dealing high damage per second (DPS) is key to saving time and winning this fight.
| Cookie | Toppings | Tart | Beascuits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marshmallow Bunny | – 3x Sweet Candy and 2x Swift Chocolate – Amplify Buff, Coooldown Substat | Swift Chocolate Tart | Cooldown, Amplify Buff |
| Mystic Flour | – 2x Swift Chocolate and 3x Juicy Apple – Cooldown, CRIT%, HP Substat | Juicy Apple Tart | Cooldown, Crit% |
| Wind Archer | – Full Bouncy Caramel – ATK SPD, ATK Substat | Bouncy Caramel Tart | ATK SPD, ATK, DMG Resist Bypass |
| Eternal Sugar | – Full Searing Raspberry – CRIT%, ATK, Cooldown Substat | Searing Raspberry Tart | DMG Resist Bypass, Cooldown |
The Eternal Sugar boss protects herself with a shield. You need to destroy it quickly! If you break the shield fast enough, she’ll fall asleep, giving you more time to attack. But if you don’t break it in time, she’ll become stronger and your team will do less damage.

Burning Spice Cookie Boss

While the battle against Burning Spice Cookie is likely the simplest in the Cookie Run: Kingdom Abyss of the Four, it can take a surprisingly long time if you’re not careful. He becomes temporarily invincible when his health gets low, which can significantly extend the fight.
| Cookie | Toppings | Tart | Beascuits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marshmallow Bunny | – 3x Sweet Candy and 2x Swift Chocolate – Amplify Buff, Coooldown Substat | Swift Chocolate Tart | Cooldown, Amplify Buff |
| Mystic Flour | – 2x Swift Chocolate and 3x Juicy Apple – Cooldown, CRIT%, HP Substat | Juicy Apple Tart | Cooldown, Crit% |
| Wind Archer | – Full Bouncy Caramel – ATK SPD, ATK Substat | Bouncy Caramel Tart | ATK SPD, ATK, DMG Resist Bypass |
| Eternal Sugar | – Full Searing Raspberry – CRIT%, ATK, Cooldown Substat | Searing Raspberry Tart | DMG Resist Bypass, Cooldown |
Okay, so Burning Spice Cookie isn’t too complicated. Basically, I just need to attack him as much as possible. The idea is to get a time cushion because when he goes invincible for a short bit, I want to be ready and not waste time waiting!
Mystic Flour Cookie Boss

Similar to Shadow Milk, Mystic Flour damages enemies. But it also inflicts the Apathy debuff, which many find even more disruptive.
| Cookie | Toppings | Tart | Beascuits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marshmallow Bunny | – 3x Sweet Candy and 2x Swift Chocolate – Amplify Buff, Coooldown Substat | Swift Chocolate Tart | Cooldown, Amplify Buff |
| Mystic Flour | – 2x Swift Chocolate and 3x Juicy Apple – Cooldown, CRIT%, HP Substat | Juicy Apple Tart | Cooldown, Crit% |
| Wind Archer | – Full Bouncy Caramel – ATK SPD, ATK Substat | Bouncy Caramel Tart | ATK SPD, ATK, DMG Resist Bypass |
| Eternal Sugar | – Full Searing Raspberry – CRIT%, ATK, Cooldown Substat | Searing Raspberry Tart | DMG Resist Bypass, Cooldown |
Adding Mythic Flour Cookie to your team creates a white shield and protects everyone from the Apathy effect, making this a solid team choice. Because of this strong defense, opponents don’t pose much of a challenge.
