Sources say Kelsea Ballerini thought her then-boyfriend, Chase Stokes, was her soulmate before their second breakup.
According to a source who spoke with Us Weekly on Saturday, she had never experienced this kind of love before. He was completely captivated by her, and they were deeply in love.
Kelsea hadn’t connected with anyone quite like Chase before. He shared his feelings with her, and their relationship was much more emotionally close than any she’d experienced previously.
She felt more dedicated to him than any of her past partners. This strong connection was the foundation of their relationship and made her optimistic about their future together.
The country singer, 32, and the actor from Outer Banks, 33, dated for almost three years, but their relationship became very difficult and unhealthy. Eventually, she blocked him on Instagram.
‘I’m blocked, I did nothing wrong. Sorry. I tried,’ Stokes cryptically announced last Thursday.

‘I’m sorry for those who believed in us. It is what it is. Onwards and upwards.’
The day after the split, Us Weekly reported that Kelsea Ballerini’s ex-boyfriend was devastated, describing their relationship as a constant rollercoaster of emotions.
Reports surfaced in September that the couple had broken up, with sources claiming they’d been fighting frequently. However, just weeks later, they were photographed looking affectionate in both Scotland and Croatia.
Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes first connected online on December 1, 2022, just a few weeks after her divorce from Morgan Evans was finalized. They had been married for four years.
The singer, who has been nominated for a Grammy six times, titled her new EP ‘Mount Pleasant’ after the South Carolina town where the actor from ‘Marked Men’ films the show ‘Outer Banks’.
In her new song, ‘587,’ Kelsea Ballerini seems to allude to matching tattoos she and her ex-partner both had. She sings about him covering his up, and suggests she’ll do the same, implying their split is more than just a temporary break – they’re truly growing apart.
The artist known for ‘I Sit In Parks’ will be performing next on December 6th at the ICC Sydney Theatre in Australia.

Kelsea Ballerini is nominated for a Grammy Award for her album ‘Patterns,’ which is up for Best Contemporary Country Album. The Grammy Awards will be broadcast on CBS and Paramount+ on February 1st.
According to TMZ, last month Chase Stokes and his former girlfriend, Madelyn Cline, stepped in when a female production assistant was reportedly grabbed and shaken by Jonas Pate, a co-creator of their show Outer Banks, during an argument while filming in Croatia.
The former couple, who dated for 17 months and split in 2021, will finish their work on the popular Netflix teen series as their characters, John B. and Sarah. The fifth season, which will be the last, is set to release next year.
Ben Stokes has a large social media presence, with over 13 million followers, and works with brands like Ford, Zenni, and Omega in paid partnerships, making him a popular influencer.
