While plenty of sci-fi horror shows are excellent, one series on MGM+ truly stands out. Despite consistently receiving perfect reviews, it hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves.
The horror series From began in 2022 and has steadily gained popularity with each new season. Season 3 was a huge hit, receiving perfect scores and becoming a streaming favorite. Now, nearly a year after Season 3 ended, From has announced – via a post on X – that filming for Season 4 is complete.
For the first three seasons, the show From released new episodes every year. However, Season 4 is breaking that pattern – instead of premiering in 2025, it will now come out in 2026. Season 3 launched on September 22, 2024, and its surprising finale aired on November 24, 2024, nearly a year after filming finished on November 21 of the same year.
A brief video posted on social media announced that filming for Season 4 has finished. The cast said goodbye to viewers, and the caption revealed the show, FROM, is finished filming and will be available soon on MGM+! Fans are already analyzing the video for hints about what’s to come.
I’m so excited about the cast announcement! Harold Perrineau is going to be amazing as Boyd Stevens, and I’m really looking forward to seeing Avery Konrad as Sara Myers. David Alpay is playing Jade Herrera, and Scott McCord will be Victor Kavanaugh. We’ll also see Ricky He as Kenny Liu, A.J. Simmons as Randall Kirkland, Kaelen Ohm as Marielle Sinclair, and Chloe Van Landschoot as Kristi Miller. Plus, Catalina Sandino Moreno is joining us as Tabitha Matthews, and Pegah Ghafoori will play Fatima Hassan – along with a bunch of other actors I already love!
The season officially wrapped filming after multiple cast members announced it on social media. Harold Perrineau confirmed the news by resharing a video and stating, “Just wrapped today.”
While there’s no confirmed release date yet, the show is expected to return on MGM+ sometime in the first half of 2026. Production finished on schedule, making this timeframe very likely.
