KRÜ BLAZE played exceptionally well, defeating GIANTX and causing the European team to relive a familiar feeling at GCC 2025.
KRÜ BLAZE entered the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 determined to make a statement, and they did just that. They dominated their second elimination match, proving they’re serious contenders and eliminating GIANTX from the competition.
KRÜ BLAZE radiates confidence and dominance
Caue “dods” Fernandes has been playing exceptionally well throughout this competition. She consistently performs at a high level, demonstrating impressive duelist skills and creating many of the most exciting plays of the Championship. She was key to KRÜ BLAZE’s dominant wins on both the Split and Pearl maps.
Although Haven didn’t have her best performance, she demonstrated that her team is full of skilled players who can win games even when she isn’t the top scorer. This match proved that the South American team isn’t reliant on a single player and can succeed as a unit.

KRÜ dods finished the series strong with remarkable stats – 69 kills, 44 assists, and 11 first bloods – and an impressive ACS score of 308, showcasing her dominant gameplay. However, she wasn’t the only player performing well.
I’ve been seriously impressed with Montserrat “mmonch” Gutierrez ever since she joined the team at the beginning of the year. She plays so aggressively, and combined with how powerful Viper is, it’s obvious why she’s such a dangerous player – opponents really have to watch out for her!

Constanza “conir” Reyes continues to be a key player for the team, bringing impressive skills and valuable experience to each Championship. She’s been with the team for three years and has competed in every Championship event so far.
I strive to bring a professional attitude and self-assurance to my work, which benefits both my own performance and the team’s. I aim to offer more than just my experience; I also prioritize staying focused, particularly when things get challenging, so we can maintain confidence and work effectively.

Watching GIANTX lose felt awful, honestly – it was like watching 2024 all over again! They got knocked out of the Championship by MIBR GC and KRÜ BLAZE, just like last year. It was a really frustrating repeat of a disappointing result, and they were really hoping to go further this time. Meanwhile, it was sad to see Xipto Esports’ run end, losing to Ninetails in a tough match-up against another team from their region.
Two dominant wins with one brief scare in between
From the very beginning, the first map was flawlessly executed – precise, controlled, and dominant. GIANTX struggled to keep up as KRÜ controlled every engagement and strategic move, limiting the European team to just three rounds. It was a tough game that GIANTX will likely want to forget.

The second game was an absolute thrill ride, showcasing everything exciting about VALORANT. It went into overtime twice, with both teams fighting desperately to stay in the competition. Incredible knife kills and amazing plays created a chaotic and intense atmosphere. After a difficult start, GIANTX looked completely revitalized, displaying a confidence they lacked earlier. They played with everything they had, determined to force another round, and briefly it seemed like they could succeed.

mmonch provided a hilariously memorable moment during the tournament with her impressive knife kill. She later discussed it with the press.
I noticed the spike was almost finished, which meant the round was ending soon. I decided to switch to my knife and try to create a lighthearted moment with my teammates. I did run out of ammo and briefly panicked, but I knew the enemy wasn’t actually on the spike, so it wasn’t a big deal.
Watching that third map was heartbreaking as a GIANTX fan. A 6-0 loss is rough, but you could tell they really fought hard. Ultimately, though, KRÜ BLAZE was just too good. They were so precise, played with amazing patience, and completely controlled the map. Everything they did – from perfect aim to those sneaky flanks – just shut down any chance GIANTX had of getting back in the game. It was a total domination, and sadly, it meant GIANTX was out of the Championship.
