Sir David Beckham recreates his viral ‘be honest’ moment after doubting wife Victoria decorated their Christmas tree at £31.5m London townhouse

Okay, I absolutely lost it when I saw Sir David Beckham playfully questioning if Victoria really decorated their Christmas tree! It was such a sweet nod to that hilarious moment from their Netflix documentary – the one where he jokingly asked if she’d had help. It was so relatable and funny, and honestly, it just proves how much fun they have as a couple. I was cracking up right along with everyone else!

Victoria Beckham, 51, shared on Instagram Sunday that she’s decorating her and David Beckham’s £31.5 million London home for the holidays as a surprise for the former footballer, who is 50.

Victoria announced to her followers that the Christmas tree was up, admitting she was feeling particularly accomplished. She described it as a large tree and said they were more prepared for Christmas than ever before, especially for David’s arrival.

Opening the door, he told her: ‘Be honest. Did you really decorate that tree?’

Victoria pressed, asking if it was a good surprise. David responded with enthusiasm, calling it a ‘very nice surprise, Mrs. Claus’.

The amusing back-and-forth mirrored a scene from his documentary, where David unexpectedly interrupted his wife while she was being interviewed and seemingly attempting to connect with everyday people.

Okay, so I’ve been following Victoria for years, and it’s just… fascinating. She always talks about her ‘working class’ background, which is sweet, but then David just casually appears – like, right in the middle of things! – and basically tells her to tell the truth! It’s like, what truth?! What was she hiding? I’ve been replaying it in my head all day, trying to figure it out. It’s totally a moment, you know? A moment.

The fashion designer then revealed her father drove her to school in a Rolls-Royce.

I was so excited to see Victoria share a peek of her Christmas tree today! It’s absolutely massive and sits right by the bay window in her living room. And the decorations! She’s gone with a beautiful lilac theme this year – it looks magical.

Victoria expressed immense pride in her husband, Sir David, after he received his knighthood at Windsor Castle. The ceremony recognized his contributions to both sports and charitable work.

She shared some adorable photos of them together and wrote a heartfelt message: ‘David, ever since we met 28 years ago, you’ve always taken great pride in representing your country.’

I truly value seeing you recognized by The King today, because you consistently demonstrate unwavering love for England and deep respect for the Royal Family – both on and off the field. It’s a moment I’ll always treasure.

Even with all your accomplishments, you’re still the same kind, down-to-earth, and dedicated person I first met almost 30 years ago. You’re also a wonderful husband and father.

‘I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir @davidbeckham, we all love you so much xxx’.

I was so thrilled when Sir David received his knighthood! To mark the occasion, he and his family treated themselves to a lovely visit at Cliveden House and Spa in Berkshire – a truly fitting way to celebrate such a fantastic achievement.

The family enjoyed an afternoon of food and drinks at the luxurious 5-star hotel and spa, which is located on 376 acres of beautiful National Trust land. They took a family photo while visiting the impressive historic home.

Throughout his incredible career, David Beckham collected 25 trophies, played for England 115 times, and competed in five major international tournaments, scoring many memorable goals. He recently received an award that was the only significant honor missing from his impressive collection, completing a remarkable journey that continued even after his playing days.

The King and his knight, who had become good friends through their shared hobby of gardening and beekeeping, exchanged smiles, a handshake, and a quick conversation at the touching ceremony where the knight was honored.

After the ceremony, Sir David shared that he was deeply moved to receive the honor, and mentioned that Charles had praised the suit Victoria had gifted and created for him.

He acknowledged he’s had a fortunate career, achieving a great deal through luck, but said receiving a knighthood was more than he ever imagined possible.
