Strictly’s La Voix shows off her ankle injury after being forced to withdraw from the show as she joins the cast at the Blackpool wrap party

Strictly Come Dancing’s La Voix revealed her injury at the show’s Blackpool wrap party on Saturday, joining her fellow cast members for the celebration.

During the live show, it was announced that 45-year-old Christopher Dennis, a performer known by their drag persona, had to leave the competition due to an injury suffered while practicing.

Even after receiving upsetting news revealed on Saturday’s live show, La Voix put on a brave face and joined her fellow stars at the after-party.

After she left the show, it was announced that there wouldn’t be a dance-off this week. This means none of the eight remaining couples will be eliminated.

I was completely mesmerized when La Voix swapped her stunning silver sequin gown for this incredible black lace jumpsuit! It was so striking as she walked into the party – a real showstopper. Honestly, it was the perfect look for her.

The performer displayed the special boot she’s been wearing since announcing on social media that she had to leave the show due to doctor’s orders.

Shortly after the news of her departure was announced, La Voix posted a statement on Instagram.

She shared that she was heartbroken to have to leave Strictly Come Dancing. It wasn’t the way she’d hoped to leave the show, and she was upset about disappointing everyone.

I really wanted to keep dancing, but unfortunately, my foot couldn’t! Thank you so much for all the encouragement, votes, and support – it truly means everything to me. While this isn’t how I pictured things ending, I’ll always treasure this experience.

For their last Blackpool performance, Tess looked stunning in a sparkling white dress with cut-out details and a dramatic cape.

Meanwhile Claudia opted for a striking bright red boat neck gown with draping.

Oh my gosh, Lewis Cope and Katya Jones were first! Can you believe it? They kicked everything off with a Charleston, and it was absolutely electric! I was on the edge of my seat, seriously!

The dance stunned judge Anton Du Beke into silence, and Craig Revel Horwood simply called it ‘fabulous’.

Lewis received another perfect score of 40 for his incredible dance, making him the first celebrity this season to achieve the top mark twice.

Balvinder Sopal and her new partner, Julian Caillon, then performed a passionate and suggestive Argentine Tango.

Even though she seemed unhappy with how she danced, Balvinder really impressed the judges. Motsi Mabuse even called her the ‘comeback queen’ because she had overcome being in four dance offs.

Balvinder had a fantastic return, scoring her best yet in the series with three eights and a nine.

Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin danced a lively Quickstep to the S Club 7 song “Reach For The Stars.”

Following Blackpool week’s tradition, the celebrity dancers were joined on the dance floor by additional professional dancers.

Craig received boos from the audience when he pointed out flaws in Amber’s technique, but he quickly praised her timing and impressive floor coverage. Their performance earned a score of 36 out of 40.

Lioness Karen Carney and Carlos Gu then took to the floor with a powerful Paso Doble, earning a standing ovation from the audience and judges Motsi and Shirley.

“That’s definitely how you score!” exclaimed Craig, clearly impressed. Motsi agreed, saying she didn’t have words to describe how fantastic the dance was.

Shirley believes the performance will be remembered as a historic moment, and Anton jokingly wished he could have given her a perfect score of 25 points. She actually received a score of 39 for the dance.

Alex Kingston and Johannes Radebe then performed their Couple’s Choice dance, a dazzling and passionate routine that earned them a score of 35.

George Clarke finished the popular Blackpool show with a lively salsa, dancing alongside his partner Alexis Warr.

The YouTuber’s performance wowed the judges with its energy. Shirley was particularly impressed, saying he brought a fresh and exciting new style to the routine, and she admitted she hadn’t anticipated such a strong performance from him.

The pair achieved a huge score of 39 for the routine, their highest yet.

The show began with a performance by Steps, who danced to a mix of their most popular songs, including “Tragedy.”

The Strictly Come Dancing professionals performed a dazzling group number, and were soon joined on the dance floor by the judges and celebrities.

Just a day before the Blackpool live show, La Voix took to Instagram to share an update with fans.

Good morning, everyone! I’m seeing all your posts about heading to Blackpool, and while you’re enjoying your trips, I’m off to get an MRI scan to find out what’s wrong with my foot.

I have a bone bruise on the base of my toe, likely caused by repeatedly wearing high heels.

It feels like a bad bone bruise, and if I don’t let it heal, it could turn into a stress fracture – essentially a broken foot. That would mean being off my foot in a boot for six to eight weeks.

‘Which would be awful, so luckily they’ve caught it up before it has got to that stage.

You know, I was telling the physio team while filming ‘It Takes Two’ just how incredible the entire BBC ‘Strictly’ team has been. They really are a fantastic group of people to work with, and I’m so grateful for all their support.
