Two 1970s rock icons hit the road together for 2026 tour dates

In the past, popular bands would often tour with up-and-coming artists as their opening acts, helping those newer bands gain exposure. Now, bands are more likely to tour together with artists who are equally well-known, creating tours with multiple headliners.

Rock legends Foreigner and Lynyrd Skynyrd are hitting the road together for a month-long tour in the summer of 2026. If you’re hoping to catch a show and live on the West Coast, be aware that you’ll need to do some traveling, as all the dates are currently planned outside of that region.

The classic rock bands aren’t planning to tour the western US right now, but they might add more dates later. It’s possible they realize their fans prefer seeing them perform outdoors in warmer weather. There’s just a different vibe when it’s sunny! Although, they are playing a November show in Oklahoma, which should be fantastic.

2026 tour dates for Foreigner and Lynyrd Skynyrd

Tickets for the concerts became available at 9 am local time on Friday, November 21st. If you’re searching for holiday gifts, seeing Foreigner and Lynyrd Skynyrd could be a fantastic option.

Both bands are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. The Florida-based group, known to many, entered in 2006, while the British band was inducted much later, in 2024.
