Gino D’Acampo is facing new claims of bullying and intimidation while filming his ITV cooking programs. Reports suggest that complaints about his behavior haven’t been addressed by network executives.
The 49-year-old television chef was let go by ITV earlier this year after accusations of misconduct towards women, allegations he refutes.
A new ITV News investigation alleges that Gino, a presenter on the channel from 2010 to 2024, created a fearful environment for crew members. However, despite this, management reportedly didn’t address the issue because he was a valuable asset financially.
Sue Fowler, a TV producer on the 2022 show Gino’s Italy: Like Mamma Used to Make, stated that Gino D’Acampo faced no consequences for his behavior, and staff were afraid to come forward with concerns.
She remembered reporting Gino’s cruel remark after a crew member collapsed on set, possibly from a heart attack. She felt her complaint wasn’t handled with the seriousness it deserved.
Sue reported that the chef jokingly suggested they treat the injured man like a returned package, saying they should ‘package him up’ and ‘send him back’ as quickly as an Amazon Prime delivery.

He continued, saying, ‘Life happens, and people pass away. If you truly care about this project, come with me to the beach and we’ll start filming immediately. If you’re not interested, you can stay here.’
According to someone on set who spoke to ITV, Gino reportedly said, ‘If he’s going to die, he should do it quietly.’
Daily Mail have contacted Gino D’Acampo’s representatives and ITV for comment.
Last week Gino sucked spaghetti from a female fan’s mouth during his comeback show in Canada.
Following the cancellation of his TV shows in the UK, Gino D’Acampo traveled to Canada. While promoting his show ‘An Italian In Canada’ in Toronto and Montreal, he was spotted sharing a plate of spaghetti with someone in the audience.
A female fan then playfully hit his shoulder, seemingly upset by something he had said.
In a provocative display, he asked men to come onstage and beat eggs. He then had them turn around, implying they were performing a suggestive, physical act with their arms.
He shared a video clip on Instagram with the caption: ‘Two amazing live cooking shows in Montreal and Toronto… Thanks Canada, you’re the best!’

According to the Daily Mail, Gino is planning a return to work, backed by female producers he’s collaborated with before. They believe he was treated unfairly.
He’s determined to prove his innocence, regain the confidence of television networks, and return to broadcasting with their support.
Earlier this year, the chef allegedly told a number of inappropriate jokes when he returned to public attention.
While on Maltese radio, he made boastful comments about Italian men being particularly skilled at romance. He then told the show’s female host that she was too attractive to work in radio.
Gino shares two sons, 23-year-old Luciano and 20-year-old Rocco, with his wife, Jessica Morrison. He explained that he named Luciano after the famous Italian singer Luciano Pavarotti, and jokingly suggested he named Rocco after adult film star Rocco Siffredi.
He later made controversial comments about women and dieting, suggesting that men prefer women with curves, stating ‘only dogs like bones’ and that men want ‘something to hold onto’.

Gino D’Acampo jokingly compared Italian food to Italian men, saying it requires very little effort to create a lot of enjoyment. He shared this lighthearted observation with The Sun.
He then asked the host, “Do you understand now, Nicole, or should I explain it again?” She responded, “I think it’s perfectly clear.”
When asked if he recognized a man in the studio, Gino responded by jokingly asking, “Do I know your mother? Did I once take her out to dinner or something?”
I tend to remember people I meet if they’re tall and blonde, especially when we’ve done something together.
Daily Mail contacted Gino’s representatives for comment.
