Cruz Beckham is determined to step out of his famous parents’ shadow and make it as a musician.
The 20-year-old gave a performance on Wednesday for his loved ones, and his parents, David and Victoria, were overcome with emotion and reportedly cried with pride.
The Daily Mail has learned that David and Victoria Beckham rented out the entire venue to have a private family night, away from public attention.
The event took place in a historic building in Notting Hill – the former Laylow club, once popular with celebrities like Rihanna, Madonna, Kate Moss, Cameron Diaz, and Mick Jagger.
I was so sad to hear Laylow permanently closed its doors two years ago, but it’s now up for sale for just under £6 million. It’s good to know they’re keeping an eye on it – apparently, property guardians are living there to prevent squatters. It’s a bit of a strange situation, but hopefully, it finds a good owner who appreciates its history.
In 2014, creative professional Taz Fustok purchased a 6,150 square foot building with the intention of creating a gathering place for people in the entertainment industry – actors, musicians, producers, and others.

He and his band, The Breakers, performed on stage, giving a show for his loved ones.
During the set, Cruz performed his latest song Optics, a very explicit single about drugs and sex.
Victoria, 51, beamed with pride as she watched her youngest son perform. She shared a video of him singing and playing guitar.
She shared a video and wrote a heartfelt message: ‘Wow!!! Cruz, you look so happy, and we’re incredibly proud of you! We love you @cruzbeckham xxxxxxxxxx.’
Cruz recently surprised and delighted fans by sharing a video of himself singing an acoustic cover of the Spice Girls’ hit song ‘Viva Forever’ alongside his mother, Victoria.
David, 50, shared a video of his son Cruz performing, and said watching him made him incredibly proud and emotional.
David Beckham shared a sweet message about spending the evening with his son, Cruz. He expressed how proud he is of Cruz and how much he loves him and supports his endeavors. The night was filled with love, happiness, and a few happy tears. He tagged Cruz and Victoria Beckham in the post.
Cruz’s grandmother, 76-year-old Sandra (Sir David’s mother), also shared how proud she was of him publicly.

I spotted his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, in the crowd cheering him on, and honestly, it felt like a major signal that a debut album is coming soon! It’s exciting to see artists on the verge of sharing their work with the world, and Jackie’s presence definitely added to that feeling.
She said: ‘Might it finally be time to drop what we’ve all been waiting for? @cruzbeckham.’
Cruz, 19, performed a gig, and his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, shared a video clip of his set online, posting it with two trophy emojis to show her support. His older brother, Romeo, 23, hasn’t shared any footage of the performance yet.
Family friend David Gardner was also there and shared with his followers that Cruz’s performance was exceptionally good.
In the song, he raps about enjoying personal pleasures, mentioning taking many selfies in bed, and his fondness for both psychedelic experiences and intimacy, referencing ‘mushrooms’ and a sexual act.
The song’s chorus goes, ‘Keep up the glamorous lifestyle, don’t let it end, don’t fall from grace – but I’m curious about what it all looks like, and more importantly, what it feels like.’
His second single, “Lick The Toad,” takes a different approach lyrically, focusing on themes of nature rather than more suggestive content.
Victoria and Cruz sparked requests for a collaboration after performing an acoustic rendition of the Spice Girls’ hit, ‘Viva Forever,’ on Wednesday.

Victoria Beckham, known as Posh Spice, proved she’s still a talented singer in a recent social media video, where she appeared without makeup and showcased her vocal skills.
Cruz could be seen sitting opposite her in the family’s London mansion as he played the guitar.
People immediately began commenting that the song could be this year’s Christmas number one if the mother and son released it.
Last month, news came out that Cruz had joined C3, a leading music management company known for working with bands like The Strokes.
He was also pictured in the recording studio.
